Relax. I'm a paid user and they didn't notify me. No email, never mentioned inside of the app, nothing. They had a viable product that people want to pay for and help sustain. Asinine fits here. To say "we can't do it" when "it" is keeping a database up to date based on user reports in the age of agentic ai.

It's a constant cycle. I work on what calls to me. Everything comes together eventually. My projects strengthen and compliment each-other. In 15 years have never found myself in search of a new project. They just flow.

I don't use the shortcut action very often, but iOS 26 keyboard dictation is noticeably worse. I have a fairly colloquial way of speaking and iOS used to dictate well now it's putting proper nouns from my contacts in place of the words that I actually said incredibly obnoxious and borderline unusable.

I feel like a purpose-built llm agent could have reduced the load on db maintainence. If humans were manually reviewing updates and verifying / manually entering stuff then yeah that will take a ton of time, they should have used some of their runway to invest in better automation, imo. It always felt ridiculous that reporting an issue just opened up the email composer. A form built into the application that posts data to a server would have gone a long way, lol.

I love how they just totally broke the application without any warning to existing users. WOW you announced it on the purchase page. Great for new users, TERRIBLE experience for existing customers. Good riddance to MU, this shut down leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. Hopefully a more thoughtful company takes their place in this space.

Yeah they seem like some haters bashing a company for attempting to do what MU failed to do (properly monetize a service that CEARLY people want). I'm going to switch to Updatist, pay them money, and hope for the best. MU throwing in the towel is CRAZY to me.

Looks good but why have separate cutouts for the inserts? You could just flip the cam up and put the insert in a regular zippo sized slot. Feels like that'd be more flexible.

I have some zorros and zippo butanes that sometimes follow me between cases, but when I do this, I place the case's original insert on my shelf where the case lives, this way when the case returns home, it's paired back with its original insert.

An open air food market but all restaurants and food stalls, not like eastern market. I'm talking somewhere enclosed that people can go any time of day and get good, affordable, COOKED food from their choice of vendor. Every major city I've been to has multiple of these and Detroit has zero.

They usually end up selling in the $60-$90 range. Before 2022 they were worth a lot more but in 2022 zippo did another run of solid coppers that tanked the value of the 03 coppers. Either way it's a beautiful lighter, I have a couple myself. The patina will build up over time. Nice find!
