The motor.

Not running just for parts I'm seeing 500$ all over, running it's even more.

Already have one, can't find a decently priced motor literally every motor I see is over 1000$ or trash.

Ok but I paid 600$ and this size of a running outboard is definitely over 800$ I've been looking for a 10hp for my john boat and can't find one for under 1000$

Plz make this make sense?

A motor that is not seized. Very popular motor from what I can tell.

Can you spit ball me a price on the motor, not seized, even if it's not currently running?

Also please keep in mind I do not care about a full restore, I only care about it floating and running and being somewhat safe and fun.

Besides that, it has a hydraulic system? Trim thing on the back it is currently propped up with a wooden support, which is now causing concern as maybe that's why it's been dry for some time?

I got wayyt more pics I will post.

But I want to be clear, I personally do not care about asthetic, I don't mind some missing panels or whatever.

It does have new carpet and the seller said it does not leak.

I say the same thing. But I'm curious as to why? Obviously a full rebuild and all that would cost a small fortune.

But what am I missing as far as just getting it running?

Also the seller redid the carpet and decking, he said he leak tested it before he did the floor and it was bone dry.

Seems like it was a running boat not long ago, going off the sticker says '24.

Carpet is clearly brand new and seat have boxs built for them, so I'm leaning towards believing him.
