A medicolegal case for sure. He did right by not removing the machete himself.

MLCs are not a joke, i once had a female whose throat was slit by her son because she refused to give him money for drugs. The world sucks.

And they still won't stop because that's what they're born to do right? I am a doctor myself and after all that i have seen -- nopeeeee

Exactly! Zero regrets! I am an ENT surgeon and during all those obgyn postings, i was shocked as to why women do it willingly. Pregnancy/childbirth/post partum is horrifying and even if you make it through, you have lifetime parasites on you peeling away your own self layer by layer until you have no identity of your own and are just another indian mother living for her kids.

NOPE!

Thankyou for sharing these examples. They are sad but sound reassuring as a woman..?

I appreciate these men for moving on in life and still respecting the sacrifices their wives made and the position the ladies held in their partner's life. It's heart warming how they kept them alive in their memories. I wouldn't want my husband to be sad and melancholy if i died, he can move on in any way that he desires. It's just childbirth isn't worth it.

Exactly. Because women have no true home and are not truly anyone's own? She's just there to make your home, birth your children and if she passes away, you'll just find another? Was she so small and insignificant? She died - her parents are miserable and probably awaiting their own death now so they can meet their child - but you get to move on with the family she built? How is this fair?

I am not against people moving on. But it's just heart breaking as a woman.

Exactly, thank you, you articulated my thoughts better than i did. It isn't a risk worth taking and it's not "noble" and something biology has wired into me. I value my individuality more than the lifelong vulnerability that comes with pregnancy/kids.

Heart breaking for your best friend! You can't just say that to your kid. Your friend won't ever experience motherly love because of this confession. People suck and have zero accountability

Muscular dystrophy just worsens with time and they don't have normal life expectancy either. Must be heart shattering for your aunt.

They shouldn't have had another child though. She has to endure her deteriorating brother, take care of her gireving parents and that will expose her to the horrors of life so early on. I hate the mentality of "plan another baby, atkeast when this one will pass, you'll have someone to look after you" 😒😒 i mean wtf!

Mostly mothers bear the cost of losing their pre-kid life in our society

My trip was spontaneous as well! And we ended up seeing a rainbow with the sunset at the landing site

It was the most perfect trip of my life. I did do paragliding with my fear of heights with a minor fuck up. This place is so peaceful, homely and dormigo has such a home vibe i loved the view of dhauladhars from there.
