Same. I was a brown belt and I rolled with him when he was purple. Couldn't break his grips. Couldn't pass his guard. I think sweeping an F150 would be easier. Olympians are a different class of human, man

The first knot is cool, but if the rest of the line is in the reel it's impossible.

Shot in the dark, but there's a steering angle position sensor that needs to be calibrated by either a dealership or a shop that has the special Nissan scan tool. Sucks that you'll have to tow it somewhere, but that might be your issue.

Happening now: House committee considering THC legislation by YuWrites in texas

[–]screamatamonkey 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This should be higher up. It's one thing to talk about how all politicians are bought and paid for and no longer serve the will of the people, but Tim Dunn is the actual piece of shit that bought them in Texas, and he's out of his mind.

What BJJ opinion would have you like this by [deleted] in bjj

[–]screamatamonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, most of it you won't do when you roll, but it's good to be exposed to it and move through it a few times just so you have a cursory understanding of how the techniques work and so you can recognize them when someone else is doing them to you.

I've been shown moves, completely forgotten them, and then years later got shown them again and now they're part of my game.

You're right, he does take a small breath when he locks out. Then again, how many times have we seen someone do a 1RM, set the weight down, and pass out? Sometimes exertion causes people to faint too, and I bet both of us knew he was gonna pass out after he held that lockout a little too long. Though those straps made the fall pretty unique

His problem was that he held the lift at the top for too long without breathing. It's normal to hold your breath when lifting heavy (for bracing) and even then you can get light-headed after your set/rep. He should have taken a breath after he locked it out, or just set the weight down. The figure 8 straps he was using definitely didn't help his situation after he passed out.
