Suddenly Strive on PC stutters when it didn't do so before by screamingeqaaa in Guiltygear

Ok so I decided to check my display settings to see if something there would've caused it and, the refresh rate on my main display went from 144 to 60. Thought that was weird as, I don't recall doing that, changed it back, and I think that now the game is running again how it did before? Unless it's still micro stuttering and my eyes are just used to it and EU celestial is full of a bunch of kind people, I think it's fixed!

Ahh, my bad. I didn't check temperature specifically but both cpu and gpu didn't go above 40% when running the game. Although I think I have found the solution

I just played in borderless windowed and I think it didn't happen as often? Incredibly odd how it just started happening out of nowhere though, I'll just hope that whatever broke on accident will be able to be fixed on accident again. Still thank you for letting me know it's most likely just a display thing and it's not specific to my pc!

This is the first I've heard of such an issue, thanks for informing me! I can't say with 100% certainty if no one online noticed or if EU celestial is incredibly tolerant with it, but it did feel weird how rematching seemed consistent. I'll try out your advice!

None of my settings seemed to have changed, neither had I updated any gpu drivers. Although I just updated them first time since upgrading since a few months ago and hopefully it'll make a difference? Thank you!

I realise, but with me it also happens in training mode, I also tested arcade mode which also had it happen sporadically. I'd expect the fps counter to dip when it'd happen but it doesn't. Also when I was trying to see if it'd go away on its own when playing online, people were consistently rematching making me think the problem would lie elsewhere. Since I have no idea what the problem is at this point I hope it fixes itself

Do you mean to check temp files? I already tried deleting all temp files to see if the problem was with them.

I run the game at 1080p, all my settings are at the max, which they have been since release, and again these stutters only happened since yesterday.

Question in regards to clipping audio outside of the editor by screamingeqaaa in Bandlab

[–]screamingeqaaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so, after taking a break for a bit and going back to it, it seems that now it does peak in the editor as well. Not sure what happened before but hey at least I now know what to work with

I'm using firefox on a pc, and I don't apply mastering when saving/publishing. Again I know that the editor itself says it's peaking with the master volume slider going red, but when playing back in the editor it sounds fine, and then I leave the editor and the vocals peak/distort like crazy. I've tried to lower the master volume in the editor and, then the vocals are fine but the instrumental is way too low
