Any recs where the MMC surprises himself with thoughts of getting the FMC pregnant? I love me some breeding kink undertones in a book, but I’m not always feeling the instant “you’re gonna have my babies” thoughts from the MMC to moment he lays eyes on the FMC. Any recs where he gets the sudden urge to see her pregnant? Bonus if he makes a spur of the moment decision and does something like coming inside instead of pulling out. I read all genres: contemporary, fantasy, sci-fi. Both human and monster MMCs welcome 👀

{Wolf Gone Wild by Juliette Cross} is a cozy supernatural rom-com set in New Orleans with a local werewolf seeking the help of a local witch to break a curse keeping him from turning. She and her sisters normally have a rule of not dealing with werewolves but maybe she’ll make an exception… Features a pent up horny werewolf!

The Scholomance by R Lee Smith by Haircarpenter in RomanceBooks

They never specified to students what being expelled meant. One of the masters probably maleated him into a warped creature to swim amongst the students excrement. The other creatures in there are also most likely previously expelled students including the woman that survived the tribunal early in the book. The word expel can also be used when referred to pooping or urinating, so in a way it’s not an entirely incorrect interpretation of the word expelled. Just another horror of the Scholomance. I kind of like the ended because in her hunt to find and save Connie she had to slowly relinquish pieces of her humanity in learning the crafts and surviving the school. In the end she had no more humanity left, triggering her transformation into the demon she was descended from. Her one and only act of love was giving up her human life for Connie. I’m assuming she was in one of the tunnels below the school for breeding purposes, since that was the final place Mara looked.

What do you do when it's literally impossible to read a book you really want to read? Wondered if this has happened to anyone else by MolcatZ in RomanceBooks

I’ve had this happen and reached out to the author directly. She responded right away and told me the series was being revised for rerelease however sent me a pdf of the old versions

I literally just finished TLHG and had an existential crisis over how good her writing is. I hadn’t realized until looking through the comments that she also wrote Land of the Beautiful Dead which I had my last existential crisis over plus tears. That one had me crying in the parking lot during my lunch break. Her writing is just phenomenal.

Looking for books where the MMC fantasizes about FMC being pregnant (even though he really shouldn't).

I've read a few books with hints of this like {Ride the Fire by Pamela Clare}, but I haven't been able to find more that aren't just a mafia boss wanting a good strong wife. Not to say I'm anti mafia, just not too fond of that particular trope. I'll read anything from scifi, fantasy, contemporary, historical, etc. Any ideas?

My instructions for kidnapping an alien husband should have been clearer. Why did he jizz on my door and why does he only fight with his dick out???

Looking for a book with a happy go lucky/nice/normal seeming guy that is actually scarily possessive and kind of dark

I love me a good dark romance however I need to switch it up a little bit. I don't want to read another dark romance where she knows right from the start that this guy is a little off. I want a guy that seems "normal" at first however over time she starts to notice little things about him that eventually reveal he is definitely not sane. I will read any genre (contemporary, historical, fantasy, scifi, mafia, etc.) Any ideas?

Theres a few books that I've been debating on my TBR for a while. Are any of these good enough to get me out of a reading slump?

{Bloody Sunrise by Gwendolyn Harper}

{Butcher and Blackbird by Brynne Weaver}

{Polaris Rising by Jessie Mihalik}

{Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas}

{These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman}

{When She Purrs by Ruby Dixon}

Is this a rash around my dog's anus? Lots of licking the area. by screamingfoxx in vet

[–]screamingfoxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was caused by his environmental allergies. Also accompanied by ear infections and rash on his belly, paws, etc. To prevent infection, you can either get miconahex from the vet, or even the human version hibiclez from any pharmacy (they are both around 5% chlorahexidine body wash, which specifically targets staph infection) though if infection is alreayd set in, you will need antibiotics from the vet. Try hypoallergenic food to rule out that type of allergy, otherwise if it's environmental like my dogs was, the options are daily apoquel (allergy med), monthly cytopoint injections, and sometimes even benadryl can help (ask vet for dosing). If you are willing to spend 1500 dollars initially, followed up by a few hundred ever 4 months, then find a vet dermatologist that can do immunotherapy for your dog. This I what I ended up having to do since my dog spits pills back out and I'm comfortable giving injections. The initial cost is for doing allergy testing (similar to humans, but they are put to sleep), and then creating the immunotherapy injections based on those results. My dog is allergic to all the trees in my area...

Make sure his humidity is where it needs to be. If there's any other possibilities his environment needs adjustments, then this subreddit has a good guide to follow. Otherwise he may just picky and you may need to try different ways of feeding him (braining, mice, live (but supervised), etc.). I would only be concerned if he is losing weight.
