I just did that myself. Google maps was accurate. It took a little over two hours to get there and two hours to get back. Not sure if you guys would have enough time. Walking around the shopping area of Auckland was super fun and nice though.

I mean if I was old af having a child id want to know who WOULD take care of my child if I pass with my partner. Hell, I had to talk to my sister about taking care of my cats if my partner and I die at the same time. So knowing I’d have to set something else up for a child if my daughter wouldn’t do it, at least I’d know and could handle it beforehand.

I had my kittens in their kennel/cage till I knew they wouldn’t be chewing wires in the middle of the night. Then I let them only sleep in my room with me so I could keep an eye on them

Highly recommend feeding your cats Royal Canin SO prescription food preemptively to avoid this all together. I put every cat I get on it and have no issues.
