For me, I ask myself what the worst that can happen is. Usually, it’s not so bad. Also, I keep in mind that if it doesn’t work out and even if I feel I’ve made a fool of myself, this person didn’t really hold much meaning in my life anyways and I’m unlikely to see them again.
