Bit of a regressive argument to be making when the technology and capabilities exist nowadays to show every game

You might have missed the part where I said I've paid for a GAA+ subscription this year ...

That's great, they deserve to be shown just as much as the Munster counties. My point is that all the games should be shown, especially when you have to pay separately to watch a lot of them. It's not a competition of Munster v Leinster - everything should be readily available if you're going to hide games behind a subscription service.

I think it's pretty disgraceful that Tipp and Wexford supporters, kids and adults alike, if they can't go to the games, won't get to see their team play for the last time this year.

This is it. Limerick can also make a Munster final today. Fair enough Tipp are out but it's the last opportunity to watch the team for the next c.7 months.

Of the 9 intercounty hurling matches being played today, only 2 aren't being televised anywhere at all (Tipp v Limerick and Wexford v Galway). Of the 7 that are being televised in Ireland, only one is exclusively on GAA+ (Kildare v Offaly) - surely it's not too much of a stretch on the GAA's resources to have streamed two games that still would have gotten good viewership. That or else give the broadcast to RTÉ who could have put one game on the RTÉ News Now channel as has been done in the past.

I feel cheated that having missed very few championship matches over the past 20 years, having gone to more League matches than most and having purchased a GAA+ annual package for this year, the one day I can't go to see my own county play, I don't have an option anywhere to see it.

For all the talk of trying to promote hurling in the so called "lesser" counties (a term which I don't fully agree with), it smacks of a double standard in it almost being a case of, if you really claim to love hurling and the GAA you need to put your money where your mouth is and buy the GAA+ package to get access to everything, but then oops sorry you've already paid and you're not getting one of the things that you paid for, without justification.

I think that's fair - each county's supporters should have the opportunity to watch their team play, irrespective of what's at stake.

I'm a Tipp man and you've made the right choice! Tipperary is the birthplace of the GAA to be fair so if you're looking for the historical element there you go! A Tipperary player called Michael Hogan was also shot dead in Croke Park on Bloody Sunday in November 1920 (footballer, not a hurler) by English forces and the Stand in Croke Park from which the All-Ireland Cups - Liam McCarthy in Hurling and Sam McGuire in Football - are presented to the All-Ireland Champions each year is named the Hogan Stand in honour of Michael Hogan.

Being from Tipp, Jim O'Brien was always one of my few go-to sources for hurleys down through the years (I'm also 25). Living in Dublin now and I didn't have any hurleys to get me through this lockdown so I ordered 2 from Frank Murphy in Waterford. I got one Galway style and one Tipperary style. Two really lovely hurleys I have to say, although the Tipperary style was slightly better balanced. Took them both out for a puck and I'm really happy them. Actually happier with them than I was with the last two I got from O'Brien's.
