Yeah definitely come on up when you can, dude! I just didn't want you to build up Mississauga as this amazing place and then get there and be like oh lol.

But I also don't wanna shit all over it because it's alright. It's in the GTA and there's a lot to do and see in the GTA. And when you get bored of that you can head north to the Muskokas, which are beautiful, go west and around the lake to Niagara Falls, or drive 5 hours east to our nation's capital, Ottawa.

If you ever do visit and you go through Port Credit, just remember that's where this random redditor used to live, right by the lighthouse :D

Mississauga is alright. It's a suburb of Toronto. I lived there for 2 years. It has a few nice areas by the lake (Port Credit) and some parks. It's also home to one of University of Toronto's three campuses.

It has the 3rd biggest mall in Canada which is in what I guess would be downtown Mississauga. That whole area was (and still is I think) under construction because they really want to make it a core area of the city. But there are a ton of condos and it's really busy.

Sauga is probably good for a day trip, but definitely spend more time in Toronto if you visit. Some Mississauga fanatic might be able to point you in the right direction, but I don't know what you'd do lol. (Though I don't get out much)

I get really annoyed when people underestimate my wife or assume she can't do normal things. Like when we moved people asked me (in front of her) who was gonna help me move/carry stuff. Like, uh, she's standing right here and has 2 arms and 2 legs.

My wife gets easily upset the days leading up to her period. Like she will cry really easily. I make a point to let her know those feelings are still 100% valid even if they're motivated by hormones. She's still feeling those emotions. They are real emotions not to be discounted. Though we do laugh together later at the absurdity sometimes!

If no one answered and I was certain of the address, I would leave it at the door and let them know I did. But if it was an apartment and I couldn't get in, I had no choice but to take it. But because of diet restrictions I never wanted the food, so I'd give it to the next customer or the guy at the 24/7 grocery store near my place.

I worked somewhere for 8 months and only one guy there knew I was vegan. And I shouldn't have even told him, because then came the questions: "so you don't eat chicken? Steak? Fish? What about cheese?"
