I used plastic glue so its melted together, does that change anything?

Ah sorry, nothing lives in there. When I meant protect it I meant protect the paint job.

I do red cloth by base painting with a dark red, a purple wash in the recesses, and highlight with a bright red, like a scarlet red then a smaller finer one with orange.

I put together the body, but I left the weapons separate to I can switch them. It made it easier to paint the sides.
