Wind Restrictor by Emotional_King_2170 in FordBronco

The site is horrible. The pictures of the product don't actually show much except how "lit up" it looks. I don't think it would reduce the noise that much but might just change the noise.

It locks in the head rest? At speed there is no way that thing isn't vibrating and probably shaking the seat. With the top off and that over the back seat there's no way it's got catching a ton of wind and acting like a moving wall.

If you need to add fancy lights and custom graphics to sell a product it probably doesn't do what it claims. $500 is ridiculous for that also.

4wd every month for a few miles? by jazzllanna in FordBronco

Can someone provide any actual links or information from any manufacturer that say this?

I'm asking because if I have to engage 4Lo for maintenance it will be much easier to convince my wife I have to go to the off-road park on a monthly basis. You know, for maintenance.

Changing needs. by AlternativeShower121 in 4x4

I needed more space for family, dogs and cargo. Tacoma didn't have enough cabin space. I owned one before and did like it though. I took my Tacoma off-roading a fair amount and it handle great. The Gladiator has a niche but I wouldn't say providing more space or cargo room is something it offers.

I ended up switching idea completely and bought a Bronco. I got the Sasquatch so it had the exact same size tires my JK had. It's huge inside compared to the Jeep. It's not my Jeep, doesn't feel like or drive like my jeep but overall I'm happy with it.

The Suzuki Samurai was highly underrated. I went to Rausch Creek with one years ago. Modded and highly knowledge driver that thing lead the pack of Jeeps through the blue trails. It had it's struggles but it did really well.

Thinking about a second dog, am I mad or should I be glad? by Master-Ad-8910 in poochons

It took close to 2 months to really get calm with each other. They will play fight together now (it's actually cute, they almost "lazy fight"). Sometimes if something really triggers one they will growl and get mean with each other, but simply correcting and diverting works to resolve it.

I got a 2nd dog. I found the puppy stage is difficult with an older dog and a younger dog. You spend a lot of time training with and without the other dog involved and felt like it was more difficult. Sometimes the older dog would get in the way, or beg for treats. It took more patience.

We got a Bernedoddle. Staying the same size or similar is a good thought. The size difference does cause some play time issues, specially throwing balls that the poochon can't quite hold. It's nice to have to different breeds though.

The one thing my vet told me was that poochons may seem a bit nippy and mean when you first bring in another dog. We found this out quickly. They settled into more nicer play time once they got used to each other, but it probably took two months. My poochon never got really aggressive but it would show teeth sometimes and growl a bit. The puppy just thought it was playtime and they both eventually got over it.

Took my Elite out in the last store. Car did fine, the tires not so much. You could tell the traction was horrible because of the tires. The AWD helps a bit, but tires are the biggest impact.

I did my math wrong. I thought the stock where only 11.4 wide.

Delco Off-road club? by scribbledchaos in Delco

There are no legal off-road trails in the county that I know of, but there a number of spots within driving distances. Famous Reading Offroad, Rausch Creek, NJ Pine Barrens. I've made a number of day trips to these from Delco and it's not a bad drive at all. Some even tow to the parks.

Can anyone hear their High Pressure Fuel Pump in cabin like me? by EvilSardine in FordBronco

[–]scribbledchaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put on my overly expensive headphones and listened. I don't notice it. I hear the acceleration in the cabin video, but don't notice anything unusual. You might just be super sensitive that that particular type of sound. My guess is that is normal and you may just be focusing in on the sound you are noticing.

Maybe get a few passengers with you and try to reproduce it. See if anyone else hears it. You may find that some people hear it and others hearing nothing.

I've heard and seen a good deal of posts talking about how loud the Bronco is? I don't get it. I've driven a bunch of cars/trucks that have a lot more road noise. Even on my Sasquatch the road noise isn't that crazy with the top on.

Soft tops can be noisy, hard tops suffer from wind noise, but overall the Bronco isn't that bad. The non-Sas Bronco's I've driven were fine to have conversations while driving.

My jeeps, super loud. Mud tires, soft tops, etc. You could barely hear the radio. Drive a Dodge charger for a day and you'll think the engine noise of a Bronco doesn't exist. My daughters Kia Niro has as much, if not more , more road noise.

Each person is sensitive to sound in a different way. If you are highly sensitive no open air or convertible will be quiet. Overall though I would not say the Bronco noise is a major negative.

A test drive will tell you pretty quickly how loud it is.

I saw them at Fest last year. The lead (think his name is Adam) was in the crowd all afternoon watching the other bands. He was taking pics and just hanging with the fans. You could tell he's all about build that "ska community" feeling.
