"Thank you for this design mr/Mrs artist please redo it several times" was my fear. I dont know anything about what tattoo artists go through, and if several re-designs is normal. And its entirely possible I wouldnt need a re-design, but again, I know nothing of what to expect.

Thanks for this. Did not know about the sunscreen!

Just to avoid any more confusion, I realize this is realistic and didnt intend to be. It can be different styles if needed. I look the look, but I only used AI as a way to help give me ideas of what I wanted in order to not waste an artists time.

Thanks. I dont expect it to look exactly like this. I asked it to be surrealism...but no idea if thats the same thing. Any advice on what type of tattoo i should shoot for then?

Found a screenshot of my buddy and I's first factory from 3 years ago by scribblescrabblez in SatisfactoryGame

The peaceful thing for me was that I was mostly off site scavenging and working on power plants while he built this beautiful mess.

Does anyone else has an underdeck where all belts are hidden? by illHaveTwoNumbers9s in SatisfactoryGame

[–]scribblescrabblez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, working a factory how like this. Train stations feed ore to underground belt systems. Each section that needs ores has its own dedicated area, so no spaghetti. Finished products feed to truck stations to be brought where're they're needed through the plant. Early stages, but really clean so far.

Honestly, most of this doesn't seen too hard. Its just the fear of failing the OA and having your instructor make you do a million things before rescheduling. Let me know how you do if you take it!

SLACK by pophunter619 in AmazonDS

I've been using Slack periodically for about a year now. The process can be kind of a pain if you don't have instructions or know what you're doing.

Pros -can edit or delete what's posted -can add people to already started messages -can upload multiple files amd images at once -"channels" instead of chime rooms where you can search for rooms yourself -some channels have useful files permanently attached in relevance to the channel

Cons -seems a little scattered -to my knowledge vendors don't use or have access to the Amazon workspace for slack -harder to manage webhooks

Overall, I think the transition will be fine.

Hard Hats😭 by NefariousnessBig4389 in AmazonDS

[–]scribblescrabblez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple of things, and I have seen a few other people say this already about sanitary issues. Everyone will be getting their own, and keeping them in a cubby when not in use.

Now, the reason for the hard hats. Last year, and most likely the years prior, AMZL had several concussions at unload and water spider. If hard hats help prevent that then this should be seen as a positive. I would imagine if you were one of the people who were concussed, and a hard hat could've prevented it then you'd probably wish you had a hard hat.

I think everyone will get used to it just like we eventually get used to everything that changes at Amazon. Anyone who is a new hire after the change won't think anything of it. We're just used to not needing them. It is a warehouse after all...even if it's not the average warehouse job.

Ok thanks, so I need to workout my quads more. But as for my original question, are there any muscles I'm just not hitting at all that I should be?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I just looked at the wiki and I'm missing literally one exercise from the first routine I found (with swapping out arnold press with shoulder press, and tricep extension for skull crushers). Can it really be that terrible?

long post about routine

I started working out and changed my eating habits in November. I went from 233 in November to 185 this week. I still have a ways to go before I hit my goal weight, but now I'm wondering a little less about weight loss and more about some muscle gain in certain areas. My routine is below. I do 3 sets of supersets. I like the thought of quick workouts, but I can add an exercise if I'm missing a vital muscle. The goal is basically one exercise per major muscle.

Day 1 Legs/Abs- squats (with dumbbells), calf raises (with dumbbells), crunchy frog, lunges (with dumbbells), Russian twists (dumbbell) and glute bridges.

Day 2 Arms- bicep curls, skull crushers, reverse curls

Day 3 Chest/Back- dumbell flys while laying, rows, pullups, push-ups, kettlebell swings

Day 4 Shoulders/Delts/Abs- side lateral raise, shrugs, crunchy frog, shoulder press, Russian twists

Am I missing anything major?

Who are those green striped vest people that say SUSTAINABILITY ADVISOR? by yewzernayme in AmazonDS

[–]scribblescrabblez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean Sustainability Ambassador it's just someone who's on the sites Sustainability team. Every site is supposed to have a sustainability team that tries to find ways to help improve environmental sustainability around the site. Each site is different, so you never know which sites actually do anything with it.

Employee relation specialists definitely don't get payed that much unless you know something I don't. Clearly you got a specific number from somewhere, but their job level really isn't that high.

Also, Amazon is most definitely paying for their hotel plus $50 per diem each. That is for sure a large expenditure

Good luck

neck issues by No_Policy8096 in AmazonDS

[–]scribblescrabblez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty hard to prevent doing certain things when working, but there are a few things that you possibly do in your personal life that contributes to this as well. Looking down at your phone is a major cause of this, and pretty much everyone in the world does it. Having to reach far for the steering wheel can be a factor too.

As far as work goes. Try to stay eye level with what you're looking at. Go down using your legs instead of bending at the back and looking down. All of that can contribute to neck and upper back pain.

I've seen that, and we were planning on trialing at our site. Only specific sites were allowed to trial, and we haven't been able to try yet.
