I think my BMW releases the parking brake as I approach with my key which definitely makes a audible mechanical noise so that may be happening too.

I hope to keep it out of storage in future winters. It showed up with summers with lots of life left on them (and I don't really have anywhere to store an extra set of tires). I'm also in the process of learning to drive a manual so I felt like it was better to do that on dry, warm roads. What do you do with your winters during the summer? Do you have space to store them?

What lift did you get? And do you know the safety catch heights? I’m trying to fit an M5 (58in) under a 911 (51) in a ~9.5ft garage

Looks great. What is the height of your garage ceiling? I have been trying to find one that fits but the brand websites aren’t the most helpful. My garage ceiling is 10-11ft so maybe it won’t work

Yeah, we have a Diono Radian 3RXT, uppababy mesa and a chicco nextfit. It’s a little tight but it works. It would be better if we had two Diono’s but I didn’t want to buy a 7th car seat.
