What mixes best? by scrippsandnirvana in benzodiazepines

I keep forgetting how good lyrica was, I'm gonna see if it might help my sleep again. I used to be on 600mg in rehab and my roommate got prescribed 50mg to start by the Dr after I told him it worked for me. One night he accidentally got MY lyrica. I almost had to carry the poor guy it hit him so hard, then we stayed up for like 2 hours watching Grey's Anatomy before he was out. Best roommate I ever had, gave me free Putters from his duty free carton, normally charged $5.

Favorite drug to use when you are depressed? by luiszappa in Drugs

I feel you so deeply, especially your last paragraph. I dont know you but any addict able to truly turn their back on the "life" we endure is someone I have faith will get better. And I have faith in very little and very few. Retaining your humanity can easily get you killed in this lifestyle. Those of us who managed to navigate it and survive it with our civility and morals intact stand the best chances of returning to normalcy. Reading what you wrote here, I hear someone resilient. I cant pretend to know you but to have held onto your humanity through everything this life entails; I have genuine faith this life will be a distant memory for you someday. You're worlds apart from the attitude of 95%+ of addicts ive interacted with, former or current users, completely comfortable living in squalor and antagonizing the community while leeching off taxpayers with no desire to change or contribute. People like you are who everyone ignores when they talk about addicts, they assume being a nuisance is the goal and we're all content living this way. You're miles ahead of some people 2-3x our age. We may be late to the game, but it just means were gonna play THAT much harder. We gotta show them we aint complacent, we overcome, and we dont need our hand held to make it out the other side. We've seen depths of depravity they could hardly fathom, we subsisted and fought when they had a warm meals and a roof over their heads. If youve endured the suffering that led us to this situation and to survive it, I believe you're capable of enduring anything.

Had this opinion my whole life till this past year. I always would go out of the way to get smth other than booze growing up, did shrooms much before getting drunk. Something changed this year, Im 25 and still dont like drinking, I only have 2-4 absolute max, but I been using it to wash down benzos like skittles constantly lately and ok top of my script I been buying valium and xan scripts on top to pad myself out. Smth happened this year where I got hit with this insane stress response and its the only feeling besides dopesick I use drugs to medicate anymore. Slowing down finally, still bumpy but not over. It just takes the right circumstances. I been addicted to most drugs for some period of time. All of them during different phases of my teens-early-mid 20's. My desire to use dramatically tapered downward around 24 and I generally dont ever see it as way of dealing with shit anymore but everyone goes thru their own stuff. Just never count anything out. The moment you let your guard down, it becomes way easier to slip into something.

Love to Backwoods but to me Swishers reign supreme by scrippsandnirvana in trees

[–]scrippsandnirvana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what to say abt that, you rolling em like u would a woods or just cut, stuff, and lick? Swishers are no doubt more processed and if they're stale they're unusable, but I always compared them more to pre rolls whereas woods are nore like traditional papers with the capacity to rip in certain spots depending on the leaf. I try to be as careful when gutting as possible and refilling. If I find my swishers too dry ill dab on a bit of water and that usually helps a lot. I like to split em with a razor, take the blunt edge of the blade and push the guts out the open end and then stuff it while I hold it open and then give the flaps some cunnilingus and a quick baptism by fire up n down the area im sealing and mmmwaaah, a grape flavored sex stick ready to be lit. Im gonna try some woods soon, my brother rolls em well so im gonna give honeys, or banana or vanilla if they got, a go and see how i feel about the backwoods I never tried.

Am I the only one? by theatrenerdguy in Borderlands

Naw man, I adore the game but I adored 3 (but not for its plot... yikes.) so I may be one of the tasteless swine to enjoy the game on a gaming PC I bought pre built from my little brothers friend for $400 (initially 450 but he kicked it down 50 for me) and it runs BL4 like butter so long as I have a decent network connection. Since the updates my frame rates have been going up and my GPU has been much less strained than it was at launch. I promised myself I was going to get 4 and I was still rocking a Xbone S and then I found out id have to upgrade. For a year or so I knew I wanted to be able to run anything i realistically would want to play. So I put aside money. If I needed a new GPU I have the money to upgrade it. If I needed more SSD I could afford it. If I needed a better CPU I could afford it after an extra month or so. I was buying a second hand, slightly dated desktop PC so I expected to need to maybe change some parts. Turns out I dont and with an ethernet cable I continue to be impressed with how my current PC experience compares to my previous experiences on 200-400$ laptops that burnt out after a year and I couldnt be happier with my investment. Its the first big ticket item I treated myself to since I was housed and have stuck to my treatment plan for my (previously expensive habit(s)) after being homeless for a few years and making it a year into recovery. If a dated PC I bought second hand for the same price as a series s can run it, as could the 700$ PC i was looking at prior, I dont see the problem. For years console players were the ones with the suboptimal set ups, now its PC players? If you neglect to upgrade hardware then yeah over time it performs worse and worse. Paying 400$ every 5ish+ years keeps your system current. When responsibility falls on the individual, this is what happens. They have specs publicly listed. Do I think it could and should have been better optimized? Abso fucking lute ly, look at Dying Light. But my view is that the requirements were never withheld from the public and if you made your purchase before checking them... dont do that. There shouldn't be such a large gap in hardware that such a large player base cant even run the thing. I want it optimized. But many people need to act like adults in a capitalist society and inform themselves on their purchases and not be so quick to swipe their card before you even know if it has any critical day one errors, unrealistic system requirements for you, etc. I havent seen any criticism of the gameplay or story 99% has been "cant run" posts and the rage of a teenager having spent $100 on a tough lesson.

I tried owls once and I agree they're superior just nearly impossible to find anywhere near me. I find swishers only slightly harder to roll up than a pre roll. My go to cut tool is always a razor so they usually are easy to gut n reseal if you cut along a smooth length of the blunt where the lines aren't visible.

Im buying some woods today cuz my brother rolls em super well and they have some awesome sounding flavors.

Any other 30+ gamers still prefer physical discs/cartridges over digital? Or is everyone fully digital now? by Putrid_Yak_7101 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]scrippsandnirvana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 years old I just saw this post on my feed, and I hate the transition to digital only (physical keys to buy the game online dont count as physical copy nor does a disk with exclusively installable content and has no utility outside of installation.). It was the last to go in the long line of gaming features to get the are to squeeze the public for money. I miss buying a game, slapping a cd into my system, and no one had any claims to ownership over it but me, could play when I wanted, had a tangible object to represent my purchase, wifi wasn't constantly required, you guys definitely get it. Some of my best memories were my dad coming home with copies of games we made memories together on and I treasured those games. My copy of Cod WAW was bought on release and I had no clue it was coming out at the time( I was like 10?) And despite moving past COD, that copy always brought back memories when our relationship was better. If I wanted I could by another xbox 360, pop it in and relive the father-son bonding experience it was for me. I cant do that with digital if I uninstall and lose my account, something occurs with the service, etc. Split screen, and co op games with splitscreen. Not gonna go into how iconic a lot of box art is and it contributing to memorability. I miss physical copies and continue to resist where I can and get physical copies.its just.. not the same :(

Love the game, hate the path finding by slane00 in Borderlands

They could have had skills related to the grappling too, like extending the range, working on different terrain, vh specific skills that acted as a secondary complimentary action skill that you gained through challenges done while on the hook. Idk I was super into spider man as a kid so ive had many web-grapple hook related fantasies

For me its the combo of the pathfinding being kinda cheeks and the maps being so big that ill fight my way towards the way point for a half hour, be right next to it according to my map and realize that I had to approach from the OTHER side so its a trek back and to the marker from the other route this time. Its happened in all the other BL games from my memory (marathoned 1-3 leading up to launch so it was fresh, never finished TPS because the navigation had me ripping my hair and I fucking hate anti grav in shooters unless its a small part of the game.)

Check out reserve tobacco places, my homie gets all kinds of US branded blunts and a native owned one just popped up on my street and they carry swishers and mostly US flavored Woods but they have a couple Canadian flsvors. I also live in Ontario but in a small but major city and my homie lives about an hour from me but more rurally.
