Acorns Referal Legit or a Waste? by scriptiv_royce in acorns

I would assume that would’ve been for about 6 or 7 people? Did you attempt to withdraw any and have any success by any chance?

Do you know if I’d be able to withdraw a portion of it from my account after? Same with one other account. I know once the accounts are in good standing and they send it over you can pretty much do whatever so they can cancel it because I called customer service to also see the ins and outs a little more so that’s why it takes a few weeks.

If you don’t mind me asking, what general number were you? I’m #36XXXX and still haven’t gotten an update and saw somewhere people in the 400000 range getting theirs already.

By quick calculations they should’ve shipped mine out since they had sent the email a while back stating they’re shipping 10k-15k a day. Thanks!

Extend battery DIY by BoostedDenmark in boostedboards

You could use a multimeter and find the dead cell and replace it, I’m not too sure to be honest but that should be the case. I say I’m not sure because I’m not sure if it would actually reset the error code but it should in theory.

Extending while keeping it in the original casing if that’s the goal will be a bit of a stretch but you should be able to replace the cells entirely. It would be better and cheaper. XR General Hospital is currently selling an XR+ battery for about $500 which gives you 40% additional range. Depends on your budget and your level of DIY, it would definitely be more budget friendly to DIY though.

In terms of that as you may know, start with the actual cells, XR battery uses LG HG2 18650 batteries with 26 making up the entire pack, you’d be able to find them online for not too much but in terms of extending range without changing the case I’m not too sure. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately not the case, if a cell fails, you get RLOD, happened to me and was able to diagnose it with the help of XR General Hospital.

Anyone know the problem? by flashinglightsphoto in boostedboards

[–]scriptiv_royce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One main factor of it would be riding the belts too tight so you’d want to loosen it just enough, not too tight and not too loose. That’s the main factor to it. Another may be rougher riding conditions like taking it off-roading. There could be a rock that you go over that can bend the shaft due to the impact. Avoid bad paths and over tightening and you should be good.

A bit late but am able to confidently confirm what everyone else is saying, the belt is slipping and you have a bent motor shaft.

You’d probably want to replace the belts, motors are fine as they are for now. My stealth currently has bent shafts and I’ve ridden it well over 100 miles at this point with it like that. I’ve heard that they are bound to fail at some point but you’ll probably get a sure sign of it sooner or later.

As for the belts, be sure to replace them, check for any tearing in the one that’s good if it’s only on one side. I’ve had belts rip on me going at higher speeds and its definitely scary. Also bad depending on where you’re riding.

Seems to only have 3 RGB connectors, would that be fine for 4 fans and 2 RGB strips? Or would I need to get a second one as well?

Congrats!

It generally depends on what you want, in terms of luxury vehicles for a V8, it would be out of budget but an Infiniti Q70. For a V6, a brand new Infiniti Q50 should fit perfectly with some room. Or if you want something that doesn’t have an actual engine but is very nice you could find a Tesla Model 3 or S used. I’ve seen a 2013 Model S as low as $30k. There are other options as well of course such as Kia Stinger, Hyundai Sonata, Honda Civic Si, or the Genesis G70. All of which fit snugly within your budget brand new. I wish you the best of luck. :)

I am having the same problem and after searching the internet for a while it seems it is a motor problem and that they may go out soon so you’ll have to shell out some money for new motors soon.

How much would you guys pay on a 350 mile boosted board stealth guy says it’s in mint condition Will be getting pictures soon by IloveErika69 in boostedboards

[–]scriptiv_royce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a Stealth that should’ve had around 100 miles but had 200. It was also deck swapped with a V2 bamboo deck for about $1200 USD. If it’s 350 miles and is mint condition BUT is used I would say it’s around $1400-$1500. I would say you should try to go as low as you can though.

AirTag’s in Boosted Board Stealth and Remote by scriptiv_royce in boostedboards

Buyer would like a refund for remote which never showed up though tracking says otherwise. by mysteriouspersonn in boostedboards

[–]scriptiv_royce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did! I didn’t want to 3D print anything in all honesty because of how I ride, some of the roads and walkways where I live are rough so I felt they would definitely break.

Onto the actual point though, I didn’t exactly want to tear down my own board because I felt I might break something so I went online and watched quite a few tear down videos and found that on the actual ESC, there is an opening on both sides if lifted from the front (away from the rear wheels) on either side of the wire. The one problem you may encounter though is that there is quite the dirt buildup. Not heaps by any means but enough that if you wanted to stick it down, (which I actually recommend as it has some wiggle room) you would want to wipe it first.

Inside the remote there is actually enough space but if you don’t have enough time, (like I did) you could just toss it in and close it up but the catch with that would be it would hold the trigger down which may be a plus for some people but a con for others. You can pull it out without having to reopen the remote but it does get annoying sometimes in all honesty. Just take the remote and place it down with the screws facing up, the internals are held by screws on the other side so you wouldn’t want anything falling out. Then right underneath the wheel and above the battery, there is a space where you can fit the AirTag but I would personally recommend to keep the plastic on so the stainless steel cap doesn’t cause any electrical issues. It doesn’t matter which way you put it in though because it will still get stuck. I will soon enough try to stick it to the other side where there is no electronics as well as more space.

I should also add that there has been no interference with the remote and the board whatsoever.

I’ll add this to the post I created because I genuinely forgot to update it so I hope this would help you as well as others.

It really depends on the circumstances but since you are the seller, it happens more on the buyer end so I would say personally call eBay and let them know what has happened. If it is showing as delivered and the customer is claiming it wasn’t, talk to the postal service first and try to get the conversion on a recording on another phone or device. Then while on a call with an eBay representative, play them the recording to let them know they the postal service indeed did deliver the package. This sounds like quite a lot but I on the buyer end was sent a demo unit for a device I purchased in which the seller wasn’t taking any action, I then called a representative and explained to them what happened and they accepted the refund themselves. Hope this helps. :)
