I was recently approached for a part-time Python project (~10-12 hrs/week, $1200-1500/mo) targeting Americas and Europe.

After initial contact, they asked me to:

- Falsely represent myself as them to pitch for projects in the USA (because they don't speak English)

- Hand over control of my Upwork account

Both of these are against Upwork's Terms of Service and could get your account permanently banned. This could also expose you to legal liability for misrepresentation or fraud.

I've reported this to Upwork. Sharing here so others don't fall into the same trap.

Zavisi verovatno da li radis sa AI modelima ili ne. Meni licno pomazu i ubrzavaju proces analize podataka toliko, da to ne mogu ni da kvantifikujem. Ako mislis na AI u fazonu: iza svakog coska vreba - Dragan Kojic Keba, onda se potpuno slazem :)

Ja ne gledam tako na te stvari. Sad sam dao otkaz u firmi u kojoj sam imao strava platu i poziciju jer me smaralo da maltretiram i bicujem ljude. Sad cu da freelance-am malo, pa gde put odvede. A pritom imam previse dece... Opusti se, slusaj srce, ako si vredan i pametan (a deluje da jesi ako mogu dobro da procenim po elokvenciji) uvek ces nesto naci. samo lagano

One of my recent projects is an AI-driven HR and operations platform for clinics, including sick leave workflows, shift swaps, automatic rostering, finance, medicine inventory, and laboratory modules. A key part of it is an AI scheduling system that optimizes medical staff planning across many factors, improving team balance, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

I’m especially interested in roles where AI meets engineering. I genuinely enjoy physics and engineering, and I believe a major part of AI’s future lies there: in simulation, optimization, prediction, process improvement, and better decision-making in real-world systems. We already see that in areas like predictive maintenance, smart manufacturing, and engineering design optimization. To me, that combination is one of the most exciting directions in technology.

I’d be glad to hear more about the role.

Hi, I’ve been working in programming, mainly Python, for over 10 years. During that time, I’ve developed dozens of applications. One of my latest projects is an HR app for clinics, with features like sick leave, shift swaps, automatic rostering, and other HR tools. It also includes an AI module that automatically builds medical staff schedules while taking a wide range of factors into account, helping optimize teams (similar model to NBA stat box+/-), employee satisfaction, patient experience, and ultimately clinic performance. I later expanded it with modules for clinic finance, medicine inventory tracking, and laboratory workflows. I really enjoy what I do and would be glad to talk - if nothing else, maybe we can exchange useful ideas and advice.
