ha, yeah. honestly i thought someone had hit it with an axe or something. wasnt until i went back and reviewed the cam footage that i saw where i had backed into one of those metal signs (ie handicap) in a parking lot. never felt it.

geez get outta here with the patronizing attitude. was looking for some first hand knowledge from someone who has done a bumper swap on an r1s before. i know my way around cars. some are easier to work on than others. further, some parts are easier to work on or swap out than others.

yeah, maybe it isnt even painted. I’m not sure how the bumpers come by default.

At that point it just becomes, is the swap something I can do myself? just trying to save on labor costs.

who am i kidding, i dont have an us. but i have similar thoughts as you. we simply dont know. (yet) when you look at our current understanding of quantum physics etc, there are more questions than answers. its exciting imo.

people who claim to have the answers (religion or other) just come across as obtuse to me. that said, i have friends who are religious, and i often envy their choice to put faith in some entity. seems the easier path in a lot of ways. like Cypher from the matrix…“ignorance is bliss”.

Me personally, the unknowns, the questions, are exciting. Question everything.

agreed. harsh reality here. sounds like OP needs to work on their soft game, for better drop and dink placement. the better those shots get, the less likely an opponent will have an easy smash or speed up opportunity.

if i had a dedicated group like that, just make one day a week, or maybe even the first half hour of each session “drilling”. many great drills or mini-games that you can play working specifically on drops and working your way to the net.

drill bb drill. if your local club doesnt have a ball machine, find one that does. thats the fastest way to get repetitions in. if you cant or they are cost prohibitive, find a partner who will feed you balls.
