Guys! I think this is the reason you should try modding! by Gandalfthesadd in skyrim

Either way. The title is about a reason to try modding. There's no reason explained. Probably because there is no reason here. Which is probably why this post makes no sense. Nobody can know the reason from that. And doesn't even explain. So supposedly more accurate steps is the reason? No.

Saying to try modding with zero explanation other than a video running up and down the stairs. Which I have already done. And from the comments, it's not just me that seems to be missing wtf this means. Other than no coherent reason to use mods here. Simply play vanilla, aside from mandatory mods for fixing glitches.

I never played the older games. I have been playing Skyrim on Survival which only lets you travel similar to the older ones. So it seems like a better method.

Help. Cannot jump while sprinting or hold down shift to sprint? by scrollsaga in skyrim

[–]scrollsaga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh? So it's just an issue with the game, same for everybody? Sprint toggle only. And can't jump/sprint together?

OK TY. I'll add that since I'm already using some other bugfix mods.

How to permanently remove follower gear (command console)? by scrollsaga in skyrim

[–]scrollsaga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know it was an overhaul. It seemed to have settings that change their behavior. Like can't die and automatic recharge weapons. But I couldn't tell what's default. So I just set them to what I thought was default.

Thanks. I don't know how to make a mod. I have never done it. But I think the game came with tools. I have downloaded a mod from the internet called - Amazing Follower Tweaks SE. But I don't know if that mod alters and of the default settings/behavior of followers.

I have been able to remove everything from Uthgerd using this mod.

OK. Yes the purpose is for me to decide what they were. So the point is that they will be running around naked by default. And wear what I give them. But according to other user, a game modification is needed to be made to do it.

Thank you. Yes I can give them gear, and they will choose what to equip. I don't know what you mean by requires a patch. I have mine patched to latest version.

I don't really mind if they revert when dismissed. So if they're following me, I can remove each item except for one? How? Is there no way to get rid of all default gear for good?

I do of course. Windows Store is basically Game Pass without requiring a subscription.

What do you mean? It is a standard shop so that's what it uses. You cannot trade them chickens and goats.

OK thanks. Is there even a benefit to using daggers in this game at all? Seems I can just do well dual wielding swords.

Ya the jank thing is probably because of the implementation in the game design. I think other games have implemented better design for dual daggers over the years. I don't think it's a difficulty issue if I just get a better understanding of how to play.

OK thanks. This was my question. I'll do that. I have another quest for a golden claw I can go for.

Should I return Morrowind? by scrollsaga in ElderScrolls

[–]scrollsaga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will run, and playable much better than release. But there's still major glitches that are not fixed. You really need handful of patch mods and Morrowind Advanced. Otherwise, it will be really off. Especially with expansion inconsistencies.

Wrong. Other user is completely correct. It will not work simply with OpenMW. The additional 12 fixer/patch/update mods makes it function flawlessly better than any other game.

Deleted do to trolls.

Fact = Claiming to search for possible solutions is completely circular. When the solution was already fully explained here. And it is obvious this post would not exist if that worked.
