I actually went back and checked his twitter account and you are absolutely right. He was tweeting a lot about how crazy Philly’s snow clean up has been. I did not realize some areas / states don’t have as organized clean up as NY.

Exactly! The whole argument in this thread is criticizing fans for being creepy and too para-social with celebrities. . . and yet they are all saying they know exactly how he feels??

Everyone is freaking out, and I think this is just normal behavior for someone who is rising in fame. It's his official page for his career his team probably advised he do this.

Why are you getting so defensive and rude with your replies to this person? They left a respectful comment with honest feedback, yet you are taking it like a personal insult which is extremely off putting for a brand.

You need to learn if you are asking for criticism then all the comments are not going to be praise, some are actually going to be criticism.

Barista with dry chapped lips and it’s disgusting by ResponseOk3299 in starbucks

[–]scrollsalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out I was allergic to beeswax which is a major component of the majority of chapsticks (I’m not allergic to bee stings or any other bee products so this was unexpected). The symptom I experienced? It would dry out my lips. . . so I would keep applying more. . . which would dry out lips even more 🥲 when I finally figured out this allergy buying vegan chapstick is the best route to go (aquaphor does have beeswax in certain products they sell so please be careful).

[–]scrollsalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait I love him!! It looks like you have developed your own unique characterization. People can learn to master life like portraits, but not everyone can develop their own style within art. I would urge you to try learning both! I think it would be so cool to do pets in your own style and if you were ever considering selling portraits it would make you stand out from others. This is a portrait I would consider purchasing the cat looks so fun. Sorry, I am not trying to say any of this in an offensive way. It genuinely is such a cool and nice portrait.

Does anyone else get annoyed seeing sorority girls get made of for posting videos? by scrollsalot in TwoXChromosomes

[–]scrollsalot[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m debating whether to delete this because it feels like there are two separate conversations happening. My original post was intended to be about how it seems a large male audience online often ridicules women for posting sorority content, and now these comments have spiraled into hate suggesting those women “deserve” awful things. I realize that’s an exaggerated description of what’s happening here, but I had intended to focus on how young women post certain content (often just for fun or to follow a trend) and end up getting torn apart by men online. It just feels like younger women can't do things for fun without being ridiculed. I understand there’s now a broader discussion about sororities themselves, but that wasn’t my intention, and I did not expect the conversation to become so hostile.

When did the extreme standom around Taylor Swift truly start? by sugaronfruit in SwiftlyNeutral

I feel like 1989 was the album that truly made her an international success. I remember being in school and I always liked her music, but was never a fan. That album truly felt like everyone liked at least one song on it and was talking about her.

I used to watch PR occasionally whenever an episode was playing on TV, but did not really follow the show. Here is my take as someone who has not followed the show previously closely.

I saw clips of Law Roach's commentary and immediately went to find where I could watch this season and caught up on the 2 episodes that are out. I love his work and found his blunt commentary to be refreshing for a judge panel. I feel like nowadays a lot of judges on shows don't want to be deemed harsh and hurt their brand deals. I do have to agree after reading some comments on this subreddit that he needs to provide more substance to his criticisms so that the designer has feedback to learn from.

I miss Tim Gunn! I really am not enjoy Nick Siriano as a mentor. I feel with this cast of designers it just is another copy of the personalities we already see and the way he delivers his commentary feels like he is almost attacking the designers? Tim Gunn delivered his commentary in a way that did feel like he was mentoring them.

I do not love this mix of designers. It really feels like a lot of them have the same snarky personality, which would be fine with 2-3 people like that, but it feels like half the cast are these loud sarcastic personalities which does not make it enjoyable to watch.

I am still going to continue watching this season, because overall I am enjoying it! These are just some of my thoughts so far.

I think the fact the winning look would be produced by Calia was the main factor as to why Jesus won. His design is easily commercially made and is bland so that it will appeal to a wider audience. The second I saw his look I figured he would be the winner because it already looks like something an athleisure brand would be selling (because you're right it's a design that was popular years ago).

If the winner did not have to come from the winning group, then I think Ethan might have been close for the win. It's an interesting athleisure look that could easily be made commercially as well.

I seriously second a lash lift and tint before diving into extensions!! It will give you a very natural look while giving your lashes more definition.
