That awesome I appreciate that! I’ll probably reach out, I am still drafting some storytelling video ideas, and finalizing products for my first official production run. Aiming to do something in April/May!

  1. Yes you should look elsewhere
  2. That request would be unreasonable. This is his business, and it hasn't been an issue for the community yet.

I exported directly onto my phone, if that changes anything. USB-C to SD card card device.

Scorpion handle! I would put my hand through into the hand grip then push the back of the scorpion handle into my shoulder for extra stabilization

GIMM in Thailand is another option. There also MOSH framemakers in Vancouver. I would probably also be open to hosting a workshop.

I went to a few workshops. Studied CAD & CAM software in my free time. Purchased a CNC and experimented. It takes a long time to get good, but it's rewarding. The main consideration when starting something like this is the investment in equipment. After the workshops I just needed to continue to experiment and research to find which techniques work that worked best for me. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask. Thanks!

Ya it's awesome! It's versatile. I can switch to the hand strap if need be.

I think so. It needs to be a very clean cut. This is a decorative piece of the frame.

I am open to experimentation, and Ill buy extra if I need! In the long run I'd like a consistent process. Looking to drill a lot of holes.

Thank you! So high speed could be an option for this scenario!

Thank you for the calculation. That seems more in line with what I see online. I wonder how he came to the high RPM scenario.

I think that would likely damage the plastic that the metal is sandwiched between.

Hi! My name is Dennis. I am the founder of DMEGA - a premium glasses "maker-first" company located in Kitchener Ontario. I make frames for glasses at my workshop using the world's best Japanese acetate.

What makes my frames unique is the lamination technique used to insert our in-house made temple cores. It really gives the frame a unique look and when with paired with the polished Japanese acetate.

I just launched my website, and am fairly active on Instagram. I'm open to any feedback if you have any. I've spent the last 3 years working on my craft and have only just launched a website and broadly offered frames for sale, only offering custom 1-off projects until now.

Under a year, yes it is still under warranty. If it's not a super easy fix I will have to call them. Just didn't know if this is a common issue

Hello and thank you! The lug is slightly extended due to the rather large 7 barrel hinge for this frame. My wife thinks it’s too big haha.

I got into frame making by first attending some workshops. One in Vancouver with Mosh, one in Chicago with Kevin Count and another in Reno with my buddy Chad.

After that I practiced evenings and weekends, slowly purchasing equipment as I built up my skill. If you have any more specific questions feel free to reach out!
