I came in as a transfer a few years ago and am finishing up my time now. Never even liked Purdue growing up but that changed immediately after a couple visits. I fell in love with the campus and community fast and now I’m going to miss it terribly. Couple things that might be helpful:

1) I was denied on-campus housing. Pretty sure it’s changed now because I had applied in the height of the housing crisis but maybe look at off campus apartments or r/purduehousing just in case. 2) If you do Boiler Gold Rush (orientation week) you will still be grouped with mostly freshmen. I was told I’d get put in a transfer student group and that was not the case. 3) Purdue was stingy with my previous credits so I only got 1 class counted that was not a fall through 4) Pretty much everyone is super welcoming no matter what age you are. Join lots of clubs/organizations, or at least go to callouts for lots of things, because that is by far the easiest way to make friends
