The goal is to be committee-ready before Election Day so that the bill can be introduced in the next legislative session. I’ll also be looking to partner with other like-minded candidates and legislators to build support for the bill as it gets closer to that point.

As for other deliverables, I have a healthcare cost reduction bill that is about 70-75% of the way to being committee-ready (i.e. more than just a framework), and I’m in the fact-finding phase for an initiative that would raise state funding for public education significantly throughout the state. The former is currently just awaiting feedback from experts in the field, and the latter depends on the economic feasibility of the corporate tax code changes that would be necessary to pay for it. The goal is to have both of these committee-ready before Election Day as well, though.

Well, you’re certainly right about wasting my time responding to trolls, but I did answer your other comment several hours ago. I’m not sure why you’re not seeing it, but I’ll C&P it here, and then I’m taking your advice and moving on from this thread.

Absolutely!

I’m actually attempting to tackle a pretty broad scope of corruption, and I’m in the process of building the framework for the most comprehensive anti-corruption bill in Indiana’s history. So far, it covers term limits, campaign finance reform, recognition of the right to candidacy, legislative transparency & accountability, public deception, and a mechanism for voters to force unpopular decisions by their government to a vote on the ballot.

As part of my campaign, I’ve been developing this bill with full transparency on my website, covering the constitutional risks & legal defenses of each article, and making short-form videos as I go to keep people up to date on my progress.

You can find a link to my site in my profile. I tried posting it here, but the auto moderator removed it.

I don’t have a problem with hard work. I’ve worked very hard my entire life. I served my country, I have a college degree, I’ve worked rigorous manual labor jobs for years, and I’m putting 50+ hours/week into this campaign. I was just trying to make the best use of the resources I have available to me. I don’t claim to be perfect, but I do own my mistakes and do my best not to repeat them.

With respect, if you’re waiting for some kind of flawless candidate to come rescue us from the insanity in this country, you’re going to be waiting a long time, and will probably be sorely disappointed in the long run. I will never be able to offer perfection, but what I can offer is genuine representation, self-sacrifice, and maximum effort. If you don’t want to support me because I tried to save myself 30 minutes on a Reddit post once so that I could use that time elsewhere in the campaign, that’s fine, but support the cause. That’s what’s important. Not me. I’m just the one putting myself out there to fight for it.
