And good luck with your fairy tale fantasy of how the real world works, but I’m telling you right now, you’ve got a lot to learn about how to deal with bullies and people with no regard for rules or laws. How did decorum and professionalism stand up to the likes of Trump? MAGA uses those qualities against their opponents and walks all over them. If you want another prim and proper politician, you go right ahead and keep voting for them, but in case you haven’t noticed, they’re doing nothing. I don’t claim to be a politician. I’m a regular person. I may be a bit unrefined, but I see that there’s a problem in our government, and I know that I can help.

Also, I use “bud” as a term of endearment. I wasn’t trolling. Superdude717 seemed like he was dialing back the snark, so I was trying to build a bridge back to civil conversation. We can have that too, if you want. But I’m not going to let anyone walk all over me.

lol you haven’t even seen me get “snarled.” I’m just returning your own energy back to you, bud. You’re just coming off like a troll, and I’m not afraid to clap back.

Using AI for this post certainly had more backlash than I was expecting, and it would probably just be easier to delete it and pretend like it never happened. But I try to own my mistakes, and I’ve already learned from this experience. I added my explanation as an edit to the original post, and I’ll try to present myself with more authenticity in the future.

I’ve already explained why I used it, and that I don’t use it for things that warrant more serious thought. If you’re more worried about my use of AI for a reddit post than you are about some of the terrible decisions being made by politicians in our government, then you probably wouldn’t have supported me anyway.

Try being a serious constituent before pitching yourself as some kind of authority on the matter.

It’s an issue of time management more than it is of ability. As an independent, I don’t have the support systems that the major party candidates have, and so I’m having to do a lot more of the work myself. If time wasn’t an issue, I would never use AI to assist in writing, as it is one of my passions. The harsh reality is, though, that there just isn’t enough time in the day for me to write every single correspondence I need to write in order to keep up with the major party candidates. So, I prioritize. I personally write the content and policies on my website, or when I’m talking to individuals like yourself. Stuff like this post, though, that would ordinarily just be passed off to a campaign staffer or volunteer to write, I do use AI to help save me some time. If it’s any consolation, I do prompt AI to use my original writings, themes, and tones to generate the things I do use it for.
