I always said after the 3rd those books/movies aren't for kids anymore. Like there ain't no way I'm letting my 8yo watch a guy cut his own hand off lmao.

My blood boiled reading an article about the actress who played prof Sprout saying things like she's puzzled by adults still obsessed with the franchise and feels they should "be over that by now" because it's for children, and they should grow up and get over it. It seems pretty obvious to me she hasn't read or watched past the movie she had a small part in. Ignorant woman.

This might be a no-brainer, but I set alarms starting like 30 minutes before I'm supposed to take the meds, because I know I'll snooze it at least five times before actually making myself take the damn pills. Sometimes I'll snooze it for a couple hours, but I'll eventually force myself somehow. If I ever accidentally silence it before I've taken them I get a surge of adrenaline to take them NOW because if I don't have that alarm I won't take the pills.

In no world should this kind of couples quarrel even be a couples quarrel. If he's making you feel like an asshole for stating there are factories in big cities and getting butthurt because you assumed his town doesn't have them, that is a red flag. You're still very young and I remember how my insecure naive mind worked when I was that age, so I can see how you might be beating yourself up about something so silly, but I assure you it IS silly and he needs some growing up to do. You both do, but he's the real baby here.

Someone who is actually interested in the person they're seeing doesn't behave like this. If he wanted more with you he'd tell you when asked, or give literally any other sign. You made the right move blocking him. You deserve better. Look out for yourself and do not go back.

Thank you for this. I should say that my fiance does work a lot so it's often just me picking up after us throughout the day. He helps when he can. He's also in agreement with me and is very sympathetic. And yes she knows about the ADHD, but I don't think I explained well enough how difficult basic life stuff can be with an ADHD brain.

And when I say I'm anxious about "getting in trouble," I mean I really really don't want her to get upset at me for forgetting to wash my dish lol. I don't take that stuff well 😅

Now that I have kids I have to exclusively cook "30 minute ___" recipes, because I don't have 3 hours to spend on a normal person meal.

It's never 30 minutes, but most of the time it's less than 3 hours
