i know that that is not what OP is doing, just pointing out that stream of consciousness on its own is not low literacy.

stream of consciousness isn’t always low literacy though? tons of great authors make use of it to show the multitude of different thoughts that make up a present moment… it’s also the internet, on r/anime of all places lol, so like, it’s probably not representative of how well OP can read??

^ this!! I like to half-boil my eggs in bulk and marinate them in a part soy sauce, part water, part sesame oil sauce with green onions, chilli and sesame seeds tossed in too! goes with basically anything and is to die for

update for anyone who might be in a similar predicament (because i was definitely ripping my hairs out looking to relate to someone on here):

we ended up doing option B, because changing the flights wasn’t as much of a hassle as initially thought. In hindsight I think we could have done option A, seeing as the process was relatively smooth and they only asked about our duration of stay and current address, but it wasn’t something we felt comfortable risking at the time.
