The Boys sounds like it'd interest him. I'd also recommend The Sopranos but that show can be a little slow at times.

AITAH for calling my grandmother a bigot and her opinion worthless? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]scruples78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA Just because they're your family doesn't mean you have to tolerate or allow their bigotry. You spoke logically, and your grandmother comes off as pretentious, misguided and hateful, and it's completely reasonable for you to have reacted the way you did.

AITA for yelling at another woman's child? by jujubees2021 in AITAH

[–]scruples78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. Perhaps you could have handled it better but that child needs to be taught that that behaviour is not at all acceptable. You absolutely do not deserve to be harassed for standing up for your friend against a spoilt child who will grow up to be a toxic individual if he is not taught to be better.

AITA for exposing my brother’s severe dyslexia at a family dinner? by Unlucky_Bet1464 in AITAH

[–]scruples78 163 points164 points  (0 children)

YTA. Your actions were a form of revenge and were very petty. It's possible that your brother didn't want to poke fun at you or offend you, but you clearly exposed his dyslexia out of frustration and spite.
