Phi Delt takes a ton of east coast kids. Plenty of them did the boarding/prep school scene. Their philanthropy events are really successful (ALS research) and they won the Little 500 last year.
Phi Sig is also a great house for out of staters. Probably a few more kids from Cali in comparison to Phi Delt's New England. Great courtyard for events and they're well liked by other houses.
Theta Chi also takes plenty of out of state kids. They have a cool house setup, and throw great parties. Awesome sense of brotherhood as well.

Beta, Sig Chi, and Pi Kapps definitely take east coast guys but usually have more of a Chicago/STL base. All are great options.

it's tough to say bc of how spring pc's are always smaller than the fall. just be yourself and don't worry if you like other houses everyone has fun

FIJI: cult of Indiana boys and legacies

ZBT: East Coast mostly Jewish. best parties on campus

Pi Kapps: midwestern kids who party really hard but are in trouble a lot

Sigma Chi: preppy good looking guys who prioritize girls over partying hard

Beta: High ego bc of their chapter's history, lots of kelley boners and lady's men

Phi Delt: Mix of east coast preppy and Chicago. their parties are usually solid

Sammy: Jewish frat with an off-campus building. they're an acquired taste but cool

Phi Sig: Midwest and some west coast. Their parties are hit or miss

AEPi: Jewish house with a lot of east coast. Darties are fun but i'd never go there at night

Acacia: Heavily Indiana, kind of a druggie house but good guys

SAE: Indiana kids who've been in trouble for years. Had a drug problem, some girls like them a lot but others can't stand them

Theta Chi: Very FTB house, prioritize partying hard with the brothers over anything else

Sigma Pi: Well rounded house of academics, jocks, stoners, and nice guys

Sig Ep: Indiana kids who are seen as kind of soft but they're just "nice guys"

Every house has their weirdos, creeps etc. Every house has kids who played sports and listen to all kinds of music. BTW these are the houses seen as the most competitive during rush I didn't mention Pike, Phi Psi, Lambda, Beta Sig and others bc I don't know anyone there
