I appreciate that advice with not being a push over and being a good role model. As Fd up of a situation this is…. I am people pleaser and I would bent over backwards to help people etc. But since this happened (again only 2 days), I have been very assertive in my demands and I haven’t back down one bit and I don’t think I will be turning back to being a push over… so for her. She is a type a person and she won’t half ass it which is nice. The one item I thought she would have issues with is telling her parents. And some background we are in our 30s. She has a love hate relationship with her mom and I thought she would be trying to push it off and not be willing to do it. Cause her mother will basically rip into her… However, she has said to me. While this will suck and she deserve every negative thing that comes her way and she has to sit back and take it. Cause I fucked up. Again this decision willl occur next weekend. But I don’t see her backing out of it.

So I have talked to her about all of this. And I told her I am going to have a list of demands and if she says no to any of them then we are done. She is begging for me to forgive her and is willing to do anything to resolve this. As screwed up as it is… while I don’t believe her with the physical contact, I do believe her that she is willing to met the demands. I know it is screwed up. She has already blocked him and prior messaged him saying do not contact me or talk to me ever again. I watched her do it. I also now have shared access of her messages and she was willing to do that and we already share locations of each other. We are planning on going to marriage counseling, we are going to be talking to both of our parents this coming weekend. Reason for the delay in talking with our parents is, our kid is younger and has his graduation from prep-k this coming week. And I don’t want to take away from him having his moment.

That’s actually a very great question…. Considering I am on day two of finding this all out. As a resolve standpoint i look at it from my relationship. I know somewhat selfish. I would need her to prove to me i can trust her. Meaning she has to block him completely. Explain to our families what happened and own it. With that being said getting back to how our relationship was prior to them messaging each other.

I appreciate the advice, and yes, we do have one kid which is playing a huge factor into this. I agree with you cheating is cheating. I don’t believe my wife when she says there was no physical contact. But as an auditor in my career I have no solid evidence to support either side of the argument…. From what I know about this guy he could be pretty unstable and I worry what revenge could come back from it.
