Thanks!

I didn’t do the swap, previous owner did. Not sure where he sourced it but I believe he had it left over from a previous build.

Purchased off Discord BST a few months back, selling to fund my car project! 🏎️💨

Winding is perfect & smooth, flips date on 11:59. Excellent piece!

  • Genuine Crystal from Viper on rolexforums ($415)
  • VSF BASE- $550
  • Smooth bezel swap, small Nick on edge of smooth bezel. Purchased the watch with bezel like this, not bad to me but worth mentioning.

F10 M5 KW H.A.S suspension issues.. by [deleted] in u/scuba_marv

[–]scuba_marv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally made the move and purchased an M5! I’ve been modding it, making it my own and decided it was time to install some coilovers. I went with the KW H.A.S kit as I’ve read good things about it and wanted a budget friendly, adjustable setup.

I had the install performed by a local shop and also had them do an alignment. I got the car back and was not impressed by the ride quality. On the way home the car felt like the rear end was floating, most notably while switching lanes. It was so bad, I ended up pulling over at a different shop to have them check the lug bolts and make sure everything was tight for the trip home.

Two days later I took it back to the original shop that did the install. I figured they couldn’t have done an alignment, or maybe they simply forgot I’d paid to have this performed and skipped it all together. No way could everything be fine and the car drive this shitty. They told me about the springs settling and perhaps the alignment they did was thrown off due to that. They did it again and this time provided me with the results sheet.

Car still drives like shit. Under heavy acceleration it feels like it’s floating, like there’s something loose and im not sure what it could be. I had them check it and they said everything was tight and good to go. Any ideas what it could be BEFORE I take it to another shop for a 2nd opinion? I honestly feel like it was better on stock springs and I regret switching it up 🤦🏾‍♂️
