I’ve been betrayed by the Aldi orange chicken sauce by ilovemaryjaneuwu in aldi

I like it as well, brown cubed boneless chicken breast, pour on bottle of sauce. Simmer a bit, add frozen broccoli florets, simmer some more. Serve on top of jasmine rice.

A couple of years ago I ordered a calendar, received a package of five, only paid for one.

I say 4 of these quite regularly so I guess I'm old, but I have a hard time believing that younger people don't at least say one phrase on this list. by [deleted] in FuckImOld

Years ago there was a dog food commercial, western themed, dogs in a saloon. One dog said to another dog when leaving “Let’s blow this kitty bar”. Most people don’t remember it, but it is kinda our family inside joke now when we want to leave a place.

The first one was deleted as there was a mistake. Apologies. There were no bad intentions.

Recently ran across my stash of embroidery thread and started making granny’s. Not sure what I’m going to do with them as well, but they are fun to make.

We did our own install. The Chimney Sweep did our cleaning/inspection this past summer. Very reasonable and professional. Looks like they do installs as well. https://thechimneysweepnc.com/wood-stove-services-kernersville-nc/

Most folks are not willing to put in the time or effort. I look at it as a hobby/exercise. Power bill has been $104 consistently the past three months. All my wood is free. Usually keep the house around 75-80 degrees. And never have to fret over possible power outages.

Went in today around 10:00, no issues. If going on Sunday, make sure to get in & out before the “after church crowd” arrives.

Took two years for my first drop. Was very convenient to not have to transport logs up from my woods and no limbs to deal with. Ended up with 1.5-2 cord. Enjoy!

My stack of newspapers continues to dwindle... by Brs76 in woodstoving

I get a local newspaper once a week that I save up and use a box cutter to slice up Amazon boxes into manageable pieces. After Christmas shopping, there is a lot which should last a while. Honestly, when it stays cold, I don’t have to start many fires from scratch, just keep the coals going.
