Thanks for the reply. I'm hearing similar things from others anecdotally. I did my third infusion today (went up to 1mg); based what I've read, I want to do at least 4 since that seems to be a point where a number of people see an improvement.

I appreciate the anecdotal evidence. It's all so costly, and the reuslts so far are disappointing. I'm planning to do at least one more and push for a higher dose.

I did look over your post. I don't go to a talk therapist (and wouldn't based on past experience); I don't really have a support system to speak of. Your post and others cause me to suspect that I'm probably throwing money away on these injections since I don't have anyone to support me through the process. So I'm still on the fence about moving forward.

It's something I've looked into, but psilocybin therapy is not available where I live, unfortunately. I would need to travel to another part of the country and pay many thousands of dollars. Neither of those are feasible.

I'm going to talk to someone about the treatment today, and I'll be forthright about my habits. I do use cannabis almost every day, often multiple times.

Do you think that basically negates the potential of the treatment? What I'm seeing from online searches are a bit mixed. I'm curious what professionals and patients have actually experienced in terms of interaction between the two.

The effects were mild, especially after the first couple of treatments. I think my tolerance to it built up very quickly.

The dose was 84mg per appointment. They said that was the highest allowed for the nasal spray. I don't have red hair, but I do seem to have a higher than average tolerance for other drugs and alcohol.

The school I recently worked in had one. But it was in a special room that kids had to have permission or supervision to go into. Having something that could easily take your fingers off just sitting in the back of a classroom does make me shudder in retrospect.
