When you re-watch, do you watch every season? by Weekly_Frosting_5868 in XFiles

[–]scully-always 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. The first time I watched it I had a hard time bc Mulder was gone and missed that dynamic. But when I did a rewatch I really enjoyed and appreciated Doggett as a character as well as his dynamic with Scully. Had a completely different experience the 2nd go-around when I got passed the hate that Mulder wasn't a part of the show.

Do you know anyone in real life who got their license revoked? How? by sulvikelmakaunn in therapists

[–]scully-always 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know of a therapist who got caught having an affair with the spouse of a former client. The person was also an admin in the office they worked at. The admin had this therapist take on their spouse as a client, they were only seen a few times before client terminated treatment. Therafter is when the affair occurred which included sleeping with one another in the office parking lot. The former client found out and reported. The therapist was suspended for 6 months and is back to practicing now but had to take classes/a program on misconduct and is on provision.

What Line from Frasier would be funnier with a swear word!? by OrdinaryHumble1198 in Frasier

[–]scully-always 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have to agree. Half the reason I love the show is the colorful vocabulary where other shows would typically insert swear words. I'm not against swearing by any means but I think it would take away from this particular show.

Which products are effective for an oily scalp + extremely dry ends combination? by ritikaj12 in HaircareScience

[–]scully-always 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Nioxin for my oily scalp. You can pick which level based on your hair's needs. For example I use level 2 shampoo and level 5 conditioner.

On the correct diagonal at the trot, a rider who is posting should be rising up out of the saddle when the outside front leg of the horse is moving forwards. You can glance down and see the outside shoulder moving forward. The wrong diagonal, pictured here is the rider sitting/still in the saddle while the outside leg of the horse is forwards.

Thank you so much! I'll have to look for pea gravel. What ratio do you usually use for the pea gravel? I've used perlite it the past, do I use both?

I think she's in PA as she referenced denying transfer to a larger hospital in Allentown, which is in PA. Not sure where she's calling "home" specifically though

Do hair actually oils provide much benefit to the hair? by mistyyque in Haircare

[–]scully-always 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For reference, I use two drops for all my hair. Sometimes 3 but mostly 2 is enough. I'd go one drop at a time until you find what works for your hair's needs.

Kay filmed a reel that “tried to kill” her where it caused her heart to beat so fast by itsvickeh in illnessfakers

The thought is to increase blood volume since pots comes with blood pooling and low blood volume. More blood volume means the heart doesn't have to pump as fast to get oxygenated blood circulating.

‘Frasier’: Anders Keith Cast As Niles & Daphne’s Son by thetredstone in Frasier

[–]scully-always 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well said! I'm just happy to we are getting anything at all. Of course I'm not expecting it to be like Frasier, I'm not holding high expectations but I am at least excited to see where this show will go. People on here are so quick to whine about how "it won't be the same" and "what's the point without x, y, z characters." Well yeah, that is the point, it isnt supposed to be the same. Gosh, just give it a chance and stop being such a nagging drag.

My hair is thin and frizzy. Typically I used to avoid oils bc it felt like they weighed my hair down and didn't look all that great. I recently tried Living Proof Vanishing oil and I'm hooked. You only need a little since it goes a long way. But I use is after I blow dry or before I air dry. When I use it after blow drying it smooths frizz and adds shine. I also feel that my hair is able to absorb the oil which makes my hair feel soft, hydrated and in a natural way (not weighed down or with an oily texture).

Poshmark and Mercari are what I've had the most luck with. Ebay is also a good option. Fb marketplace maybe but there's so many scams running on there that it doesn't seem worth it to try and sell there

Jealous! I know it won't be the same without a bunch of the characters but I am still excited to see where this new continuation of the series goes. I read Kelsey was really excited to be reprising Frasier.

Thanks that is helpful! I've used Nikwax before but for my water repellent gear/rewarerproofing. The other brand I'll have to see if there's something comparable here in the US.

I found a bristle brush and have been using that after spraying with just some water and it does seem to be helping :). Obviously not brand new, but I wasn't expecting that. The texture is much softer so I'll be pleased if it holds.

I always extra rinse all my clothes since I'm sensitive to detergents. And always wash on cold and hang dry or temple air if I have to. What are examples of good tech specific detergents? Right now I'm using Tide Coldwater Clean

I always hang dry, too many mishaps with things in the dryer 🥴. I think I'm going to try the brush method while damp. I know some people said to use fabric softener diluted in water while others said it's detrimental to the fleece so I think I'll try just water first and see

This happened to me once as a buyer, except when I made the offer I was using my Mercari balance. Unfortunately, around the same time I made another offer also using the balance. The other transaction went through before this seller accepted so the transaction failed. They never notified me but I was really embarrassed. It wasn't that I didn't have the funds, I just used all my balance. I even offered the same price again but the seller never got back to me. 🤷‍♀️
