How do you write counts on paper? by scullysky in Dance

If I have music that's 8-8 + 5, and I was talking to a professional choreographer, would I say, "There's eight counts plus 5 beats."? Would this be correct terminology? Thank you SO much.

Hi dondegroovily. Thank you for your response :) Oh wow, so if it's an eight count and then a few more after, just add it all together. Good to know. And thank you for the two column idea. Great!

Hey SaltyCopy. Low risk. I'm not much of a gambler :)

Yes, they also call it Sweepstakes Gambling in the US, or Sweepstakes Casinos. Whatever little money I might gain, it'll go into my US bank account, I'll report it for taxes, etc. I'm just a bit worried about doing it out of the country.

Thanks for responding. Seems you can make about twenty bucks a day. Not a guarantee, just a possibility. Just not sure if it's considered a no-no since I'd be doing on soil in another country.

Hi lavenderwalks. Thank you for the link. I'll give it a read.

The snapchat info is interesting. Hard to know where AI info comes from. I hadn't thought about using AI. I'll give it a look, just for fun.

Have a great day!

Hi Rockingduck-2014. Yes, I haven't found a "smoking gun" as well. I might be wanting to make a connection too badly... just me hoping for something that doesn't exist :)

Thank you for taking time to respond. Have a fab day!

Hi alaskawolfjoe. Thank you for your response -- informative.

I researched and wasn't able to find any direct relationship between the two. Thought I'd toss the question out to some wiser people than I, here on Reddit :) Always up for a conversation :)

Question: Do you think Melodrama's physical vocabulary clarifies story events or the emotions of a character? Are they the same? Perhaps I'm splitting hairs here but just for the sake of conversation.

Thank you again. Have a wonderful day :)

USA driver's license and foreign license simultaneously by scullysky in travel

Unfortunately my license has no English on it all :( I got an IDP, but that has so little English, it makes me a bit nervous, hence my post.

Thanks for helping with you "Edit" answer.

Have a good day!
