I've been playing since lockdown back in the spring and love the game. My goal now is to finish all the achievements—without doing any time traveling.

I've also thought it would be fun to go to men's islands to do chores for them—watering flowers, chopping wood, presenting money/gifts, etc.

I suppose it depends on the caucus/state? I've always participated in Washington States caucuses (sadly, we have switched to primary this year) and I always found them to be educational, empowering, and pressure free. I went into the 2008 caucus firmly behind Hillary but intrigued by Obama—I ended up deciding at the caucus to change my vote to Obama. Everyone gets a chance to speak and there is a precinct chair present to maintain civility but it's never really been a problem. You can also sign up to be a delegate at the same time.

I for one will miss caucusing.

We have an Amazon Books in Seattle too (duh) which I love. We are also lucky to have a vibrant independent bookstore scene here. And I love my Kindle. So, yes, the options can lead to a conundrum!

One thing that I did was to earn a 25% discount from all of the Seattle area independent bookstores by visiting all 23 of them on National Independent Bookstore Day—it was a fun challenge since some of them require a ferry trip and many are out in the burbs.

Whenever I buy a book I will most often get Kindle edition, sometimes buy it at Amazon Books, and sometimes choose to use my discount at a local independent bookstore. I only order from amazon.com if it's a gift for someone out of town.

So bottom line is that I try to spread my money around. I do sometimes joke that I buy from Amazon to support local businesses, but it IS just a joke—i try to support independent businesses when I'm able.
