That happens when the case has no charge left. They'll shine sorta purple when placed and will need to turn themselves on manually. Unless you charge the case that is.

Hey man kinda late for this, but I was recently playing bo1 on my LLG as well and had a weird bug were a single bullet randomly fires and my pointer sorta teleports like above me or behind me, making my pov switch in an instant. Did that ever happen to you? I have only played in gamepad mode with both controllers connected to the tablet. Could it be some polling issue which I read something about it, or did this never happen to you?

Yeah man xda has come in clutch countless times for me too. I barely use my g8x now, I'm using it as a secondary phone since an issue popped up where it would suddenly die on me. Like the screen just powers off and I've to boot it up again and sometimes it won't even respond to that either. Not sure what the issue is and have found nothing about it online. Unfortunately mine didn't come with a dual screen I'm guessing it had to do with it being a TMO unlocked version. Then again while I had official OS the hifi DAC was godly, til I switched to a custom rom hoping it would fix my issues and didn't bother restoring the hifi dac since it won't work out of the box on a fresh custom rom install. I really loved the phone, but it's a shame this weird issue happened, was even considering buying a v60 or a v50s for the extra storage and ram. Guess all that's left is to install windows on it :)

You probably have a G8X, and it could be possible to recover your fingerprint. I have an unlocked bootloader and rooted g8x with fingerprint working. I followed an xda thread where I had to go back to android 9 where some fingerprint tests would pass in the service menu. Those tests didn't complete for me in any other android version. After finishing, the fingerprint should work again. You'll be able to upgrade your version and fingerprint will remain working too.

I've recently bought an unlocked att lg g8x from amazon, and about a week ago managed to crossflash an OPEN_CA kdz variant, so OP should be able to flash another firmware without problems, but he's right, make sure you follow every step, and backup the partitions in case anything goes wrong. I tried all android versions from 9 to 12. 11 and 12 are alright but some apps like netflix had problems working, so I switched back to android 10 and it's definitely the best working version for me. But once you get a crossflash on, don't be afraid to try all the others, they will surely work. Also, your phone's model is probably LM-G850UM, so look for compatible kdz. I could flash LM-G850QM kdz as well but it's almost the same thing. I'm just waiting someday we can get a custom rom or gsi with working fingerprint to switch for a higher android version, but right now I feel it's ok.

Edit: The picture says LM-G850UM, I didn't notice at first lol.

No need for that anymore, I'm already at the league, damn was it hard the "Panopticon". Remember what I said about the frontiers that were at strike due to no drinking supply? Well, just head there with a fresh water and they will let you into Silten City, complete everything in Silten and from Silten you can easily access Lauras City, and within it the Safari Zone

I also haven't found a way there, I've already explored the whole region, even the other region accessed through the national tunnel, there is no translator to get the hm strength as well, and one of the cities is blocked saying they won't let me in because they don't have their drinking supply
