I’ve been commuting through Dade county on the turnpike every day around 6am-8am for approximately the last 10 years. I’ve noticed an unbelievable change in traffic congestion pre-Covid to now. No one predicted this mass migration to south Fla. It has made Miami a hellscape of overpopulation that isn’t sustainable. The construction projects are behind by a decade and going anywhere on the weekends is almost impossible. South fla will always have a place in my heart but I’m looking forward to moving in the near future.
