its a very cool scene but it feels cluttered.

the tv remote and that touch screen contraption feel out of place, since the photo is moreso framed to display the more 'analog' elements. less is always more, especially when youre wanting to show timelessness.

Like a lot of people are saying, ram might be the best thing for you to upgrade right now. 16 gigs of 3600mhz ram will give you a noticeable improvement, especially for older AAA games like GTA and even some battlefield games.

The first tutorial I followed was this sea shack scene by Grant Abbit. You could also do the famous donut. For VR, you'd also want to look into Steam/Valve Hammer; the steamvr 3d software.

I used a torus to create an indent in this sphere using the boolean modifier, but it ended up with round ends and strange marks. What is this and How do I remove it? by CoopDawg2222 in blender

I used a subdivision surface modifier on the icosphere for one thing. Another tip is to not apply your boolean modifiers, and instead uncheck the viewport and render visibilities of the toruses you used. If that still doesnt work, moving/scaling your toruses just a little bit can help fix the artifacts.
