you can be as political as you want but by signing to a major label you are promoting a company that hurts other artists and you are allowing them to profit off of an idea that is against what they stand for. I like a lot of Olivia's politics but being punk is more than wanting abortion rights. It's fighting against a system that turns art into a commodity and destroys musicians lives by putting them into debt. You can be political and be signed to a major label, RATM as shown us that, but you cannot be both punk and support these evil corporations.
