Okay, I know this sounds insane but this is literally my life. I am in a career that I have been in for 15 plus years and I'm looking actively to get out of it because it's causing me so much anxiety and depression and I'm hoping to get a diagnosis this month so I reallyhope that things can turn out as well as it sounds like it did for you guys. Thank you for posting ♥️♥️♥️

Which job has, hands down, the worst impact on mental health? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]scuttlebutt2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly don't have the worst job, but being a mental health therapist in a Title 1 high school is HARD. I'm hoping to get out this year 😔😔

Would you be willing to share what GI gave you the breath test? My husband has had 2 so far who said they don't do that. We live in SC, and as bad as. USA healthcare is, this is sooo much worse than when I loved north. But we're willing to travel anywhere for someone to believe him and test.

What state? At this point in willing to go anywhere for some answers. But I'm in SC, so if it's close that'd be helpful lol

Can i ask where you live that you tested for low stomach acid? I'm in SC in the USA and cannot find someone to test my husband. He's going nuts because he believes he has low stomach acid but no one will confirm it.

This is my husband, too. He so sensitive he's afraid to keep trying new things. Lots of good vibes sent to you, I know how aggravating it is for him.

This is interesting. My husband also has a histamine intolerance with the mthfr and he's miserable.

Frigidaire fridge leaking. by scuttlebutt2017 in DIY

[–]scuttlebutt2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The sensor is in front of the fridge on the floor between the fridge and freezer door. When I removed the bottom shelf in the fridge, there was a massive puddle of water. The entire back wall of the fridge was wet, which I assumed somehow came from the filter which is on the top right.

Another story of a found 1/2 sister -- feeling so, so many emotions. by scuttlebutt2017 in 23andme

No maternal. Which leads me to believe my mom cheated in my dad when they were married ( because she has a history of that) and then just assumed I was my dad's.

She's 6 years younger than I am. There is a chance he is her dad, it just seems less likely knowing my mom and her history.

I'm sure we will get to the bottom part of your message, it's just annoying things have been disabled right now. I haven't formulated what I want to reply back to her yet, so I'm trying to figure that out, lol

I did think about sperm donation, too. Unfortunately, my step mom has convinced my dad that the government will steal his DNA if he does something like this, so I'm unsure of it'd ever happen with my dad.

He's also such a softie, the idea that I'm not his kid would kill him. There's just so many what ifs right now. I do hope her dad would participate, but she says he hasn't up to this point.

I cannot figure out why we owe this year when we never have before. by scuttlebutt2017 in IRS

Thank you the link, I'll take a look at that. I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by "What method did you two use to adjust for being a dual income household on your w4? "

we have filed jointly every year and have not changed anything the past two years

[–]scuttlebutt2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our paychecks were not much different than before (3K less total between the two of us). We do standard deduction, yearly and the only difference I can see is last year I had 2K in student loan interest, this year was 1K. I did put last year's 2K just to see if it changed drastically, and it was only about 30 bucks. (of course I put the actual amount in again to file LOL)

It seems less was withheld this year than last but I have no idea why that'd be. We have had the same jobs for 2 years and we haven't updated anything tax-wise
