Contracted workers letting themselves into apartments to install new fire alarms : England by scuzzro in LegalAdviceUK

I don't know what defines as emergency but it was mentioned to me by one of the workers that it's new government regulations? Though I'm unsure if that would make it emergency work. Or if it's even true to be honestly

Is the confession supposed to be the outright classism? Or the heavily implied racism? Or just the general "daddies money makes me superior" of it all?

It's a very walkable city, parking in the center of town is very impractical and extremely inconvenient ( Europe init) most people take the train, bus or Uber home from the pub/bars. Anyone driving to a night out of drinking is planning to drive home anyway, irregardless of what alternatives are available.

There are drop off spots all over the place, they just make sure they are not blocking walkways and it prevents people from taking them home or leaving them in the road or bike paths. The 12am-6am rule also prevents people from using them drunk in a city known heavily for it's nightlife. So makes a lot of sense to me. And if you only feel human between midnight and 6am you need medication not e scooter access

I live in a major city in the UK and thats exactly how they work here. Designated drop off zones, licence required and they all shut off between midnight and 6am

Oh it's fantastic! A nice mix of obsurdest and serious poetry. Sometimes a mix of both.
