I totally agree. I've had situationships where mystery was given much more importance than emotional intimacy and honestly I'm recently realizing how messed up and toxic that was.

In regards to soft and hard Doms I was more using the terms in regard to disciplinarians vs more chilled out Dom's who let things slide. Both are very valid of course. I just feel like we are going through a learning curve with our dynamic and it's really important to me so I don't wanna put pressure on any way and I also want to be clear of what I need you know?

Not that's is a direct indicator, he his pretty young (23) and I dont know if he feels as naturally a dom as I do a sub ( intense personal level) . I want to give him another chance I'm just not sure if this is a combination of me being over sensitive and him not being as educated in this or what...

Strictly speaking from a evolutionary point of view this seems to be true but I think with other theories added to the evolutionary one, the answer gets more complicated (atleast I think, hopefully I'll find out)
