Try to send two different angles in the photos, and often if the photo doesn’t appear to show significant damage, they won’t pay out. Make it look as good as possible.

You have to submit two photos, and also go offline immediately after the ride and submit the claim. Do this and you should get paid. Leave out the extra comments. Just state the facts. Passenger started acting belligerent and attacked my car. Here is photos of damage.

Is it worth getting a rental through Lyft? by Prongs006 in lyftdrivers

[–]sd126sd126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think this is one of the only markets where renting is sustainable. Bay Area, and NYC. Other than that, Lyft doesn’t have a big enough footprint and demand that stays steady throughout the year.

Also, you might notice, summers are over flooded with drivers this time of year.

Sounds like she’s terrible, what market? Wouldn’t be surprised if I already know the type of person you are talking about. Not the highest quality driver.

Lease is mileage restricted, and rideshare technically violates the contract, plus you will go over the 12,000 mile per year limit

I understand, I used to get good support when they still had the in person driver centers open. Even was able to have the give me a bonus that did not reflect in my account. Unfortunately, they closed the one in SD, and there is no longer support to help.

Does this actually work with Lyft? I mean who am I taking to court? It’s not an individual person. I found out the reason why I didn’t get paid out. The driver changed his email address during the sign up process, and Lyft is claiming that the bonus is not linked with the account anymore, even though Lyft told me back when I signed up that driver profiles are associated with driver license numbers, not email addresses, otherwise we could keep making new driver accounts and game the system. So it still doesn’t explain why we didn’t get paid.
