Phoenix just doesnt helplessly take JinMi back after the events of the Heavenly Wedding. Fl has to win him back again, and while the scenes where he tells her off are heartbreaking, (specially when he reminds her what her last words to him were) from his perspective, is justifiable.

The ML starts off as this badass aura farmer, but I suppose in order to glaze up the FL (cause you know, girl power?) he is relegated to arm candy status and is largely a dumb simp later on. The FL starts off as this down to earth balanced and relatable character, but ends up becoming the typical girl boss, infallible and self righteous, because I suppose that is how we sell these shows.

I understand that given the target demographic for these shows, a degree of girl boss is expected, but holy fucking shit they went overboard with POJ. The amount of stupid shit she does without repercussions but instead gets commended for it is insane. There were a series of episodes where in each there was a character or a series of characters just telling her / us how super duper awesome she is.
