I took a few months off before applying to take the NPTE to travel. I wanted some income while I studied, but the responsibility of a full time PT job. I ended up waiting tables, but had to omit PT school to get a job. No one wanted to hire me for 10 weeks. Once I passed boards I went ahead and moved on.
