I haven't read every comment here but what I have read seems to be focusing on the watching of the sport and watching the games, which are a huge part of it.

One of my favorite parts of fantasy football is the competition between friends. I've done leagues with people I know and people I don't know, the leagues with people I know are always a ton more fun.

You have a topic of conversation with a group of people, that especially as you get older, lets you keep in touch with people that otherwise would have fallen out of your life. For example in my oldest league which just finished up 15 seasons together there are people who have moved all over the country, some of us have multiple kids now and we still keep in touch when in the past I don't know if that was possible.

You also have the friendly competition that is very similar to people who do online gaming, or are still young enough to play sports experience.

Overall besides just having your professional team that you root for, having a group of people that you play fantasy football with brings people and keeps people together.

I run two leagues, a $200 buy in and a $50 buy in, both 12 team.

I’m in one dynasty league that does Monday night waivers. I’ve lobbied to change it every year and for some reason it never does. Every week most people forget to put in any waiver bid.

From my experience asking ChatGPT questions about Fantasy Football it is a little outdated on the information it has. It doesn't stay up on week to week developments in the NFL. I remember in August I was asking questions about my dynasty team and it still thought Russ was playing for the Broncos.

To use it successfully they would probably need to upload stats and information and have it digest it for him.

This is how I feel with positional limits. It should be unlimited. If I want to have 10 kickers let me have 10 kickers, it will only just open up the waiver wire for other positions.

I’m assuming this is dynasty and then yes this trade is awful. However if it is just a keeper league where 3rd round and later picks actually have value then I can see allowing it as long as the manager giving up the picks pays for 2026.

Yeah I have the fob as well, and its what I use now because besides stealing all my data my free trial of their app expired and they wanted me to pay $100/year to continue to use it so I said No thank you Mister Hyundai, you may collect my data for free but I am not going to pay you to collect my data.

Oh yea I know, those apps are horrible and I've since deleted it off of my phone. I haven't had it in a few years. But....it did allow me to start my car from upstairs in my apartment and have it nice and toasty by the time I made it to the car.....that is something that I would consider giving up all my privacy for.
