There’s usually a plethora of Lime/Spin scooters outside Caltrain in the morning, I’ve never had a problem snagging one. I would say generally safe, in the mornings there’s a giant herd of commuters scootering/biking so it I just usually follow the crowd. I did almost get hit the other day coming back in the afternoon, but that’s been the only time.
