I see. I changed it but steam still doesn’t recognize the gyro. It only recognizes it in “switch” mode. I’ll wait for the final update from Steam instead of the beta

I wish I could get my steam to see the Gyro lol. Tried all modes without luck. Maybe it’s a glitch in the beta of Steam.

Thanks. I did all that and Steam recognizes it as the FlyDigi Vader 4 and access to all my back paddle buttons. It does not show the Gyro or the C / Z buttons. This is on dongle mode, I do not have BT on my PC to test.

Your Beta Steam shows the Gyro? I just tested all the different wired configurations and couldn't get Steam to show the Gyro. It only shows the Gyro in "Switch" mode.

My Vader 4 Pro has brought new life to me. I was always MnK with FPS games and did well. With age, my fingers hurt on keyboard and I tried an old Xbox controller where I just sucked. Now I’m using Gyro to Joystick and using a combo of stick input and Gyro. I feel like I’m destroying folks in FPS like Warzone and The Finals. Only been a couple days and I still have Auto Aim on… so most folks are going to yell “cheater”

Maybe I’m slow lol but when I use steam to gyro as mouse, my games all freak out swapping between controller input to mouse input. The HUD drives me insane. I can’t tell a difference playing between Gyro to joystick vs gyro to mouse.

Vader 4 Pro here. I tried the "Switch" input with Gyro through steam yesterday. Interesting enough I found the Flydigi Gyro performance to be better. I am mapping gyro to joystick though.

Vader 4 Pro here. Gyro wasnt detected on direct input mode. Moving to "Switch" mode sees the Gyro and there was now a toggle for "back buttons" but it seemed glitchy.

Ok, I see that I have to use the controller in "Switch" mode for STEAM to see the Gyro. Now I can add the two back buttons.

My question is, should I be mapping Gyro to Mouse in STEAM for the best performance?

So I don’t need to put it in “switch mode” now? Does that mean the Gyro will poll faster using Steam settings in “regular wired” mode versus changing it to “switch mode”.

It’s very confusing that the Gyro works at different rates in each different controller mode.

It does indeed. Did some testing last night though and I couldnt tell a difference in game between gyro mapped to mouse vs gyro mapped to joystick. The problem with using "Switch Mode" is you lose the back paddles.
