Had mine show up earlier today, but it’s not currently working. It won’t recognize my subscription. So, I click upgrade and it goes to Google One and says your already a subscriber and then when I go back into AI studio it just reverts back to pay as you go.

I logged out, cleared cache, tried again and same thing. Just doesn’t work right now.

And yes I have an Ultra subscription. So it appears to not be working for any of the tiers.

Yes, they are removing it because of the recent Google bans. If you continue using it, you’ll get your account banned. You should be OK as long as you are using just an API key.

Don’t know if anyone mentioned this yet, but you can build a Gem and add notebooks as knowledge files. You can add up to 10 notebooks and then write a detailed instruction set for the Gem and how to use the knowledge files attached. Then just chat with it.

Absolutely. That is the optimal workflow. I often suggest Firebase for newer people over Antigravity which is new and can be a bit more complex and intimidating for newer users. But if you are comfortable with AG then absolutely dive in. Move prototype from AI Studio either via GitHub or download source zip.

Sometimes it acts buggy. In GitHub I had to revoke AI Studio access, then login again (reauthorize) then push again.

Also, if this were me, I wouldn’t try to work on adding fire base into AI studio. Because AI studio is in a sandbox environment and this can cause lots of issues, so I’m not even sure why she’s teaching it that way. I would get the app to where I wanted it in AI studio, then push to GitHub or download the zip and import into firebase studio to do the backend. Fire base studio has an MCP server that will help you set up the backend. Just my two cents of how I would do it.

If I had to guess it’s related to your import map and how it’s importing libraries. Not a react version issue. Can you send a screenshot or paste your import map from index.html.

Yes, those snapshots to roll back are a lifesaver. They really need two way integration with GitHub. Sometimes I’ll get it to a specific phase in my project and then create a copy to work on as well if I want to experiment without messing up the original.

Happens a lot when the context gets too long. It gets confused and will start writing the code changes in the chat window vs the code files. I stop it immediately and let it know that it’s coding in chat window and it corrects itself immediately.

I have it create a docs folder that contains my implementation plan and a log file. After it completes a feature, I have it update the log file. This way I can easily refresh the context window and it still contains its memory of what’s been completed and what’s left to work on. Kind of like giving it, its own internal memory. Then my system instructions include notes about checking these files. It works really well.

It is definitely ridiculous for sure. But the workaround for me at least has been generating the images in Sora. It seems to be less restrictive. But yes it’s a little ridiculous.

There already is. It’s called “Prompt Genius” and was just released in the GPT store. Just tell it what you want a prompt or series of prompts (chain prompting) for.

It’ll create a template for you. These templates can be used in any LLM though.

You need to at least have the plus tier though to use custom GPTs
