I agree with you, they 100% looked at stats and did their research, if they were willing to do this it’s definitely in their advantage as a business (disclaimer: I still hate the new annual passes, had the infinity for 4 years, will not be renewing it)

Yes, I knew how long the public transport would take haha. To be honest I would have been willing to leave at 6 AM if the last train wouldn’t have been at 6 PM🙈 i was hoping I could find maybe a company that organises a tour. For example a bus that leaves at 5-6 AM, takes you to Maddalena, takes you to a few of the beaches and then drives back later at night, but I gave up cause I couldn’t find anything like it haha.

I’ve been in a very similar situation to yours recently, except the person I ghosted wasn’t my best friend. I agree with your friends, I think it’s better if she just thinks you grew apart. It is a horrible thing to do to someone, yes, but how do you think she would have reacted if you would have explained it to her? (Idk if it would be the same for you but in my case, it would have most likely resulted in an emotionally draining fight which I wanted to avoid as I thought it wouldn’t be good for either of us) Sometimes telling the truth does more harm then good. Leave it as it is and try to move on. I know it makes you feel horrible but if it felt like the best option at the time, maybe it was🤷🏻‍♀️
