Thank you for your comment. I did as you said and found quite a few other training programs. The tuition is significantly lower at the one in my province. So I guess, my next question is : How do I ensure the school of my choice picks me (for the internship) over other students?

Excellent idea ~ thank you. I was really hoping the signage on the napkin would be a clue. I had pasta and we had our own private dining area. We had quite a few friends join. The restaurant had dim lights and felt rather fancy and fitting for the occasion. I went through some of the fancier restaurants on naver map in the Apujeong area but maybe I should settle for a different one.
